Dannii Minogue is mystified why Wagner is still in the X Factor, she has revealed in an interview with the Mirror.

“I thought Wagner would have gone in the last couple of weeks, but he hasn’t, which is frustrating.” she said.

She has also said that she is scared of giving Cher Lloyd honest comments.

“She’s had a few really good ­ performances but she’s not consistent,” Dannii said. “I was afraid to tell her what I thought in some of her performances. I don’t think she’s trying to be scary. It’s a front because she’s probably more fragile than anybody else.”

Dannii Minogue said she had a ‘terrible landing’ at an airport in Queensland, when visiting for film for the X Factor.

Dannii was on board the Qantas jet with her new son Ethan when the pilot had to suddenly abort landing due to poor visibility.

‘We were coming down to land and suddenly shot straight back up again. There was too much cloud and the pilot could not see the runway. It was all very scary.’ said Dannii.

The second landing was successful, and Dannii and new-born son Ethan were back on the ground, filming the ‘judges houses’ section of the X Factor programme.

No, not the location of the houses the judges live in – instead where contestants are off to for the “judge’s house” section of the competition, where the live finalists are selected.

We’ve been passed a bit of a scoop by an X Factor contestant – the judges categories for this year!
There’s been a bit of a change from previous years in that the ‘overs’ category is now the 28 and Over category – previously it was 25 and over.

The judges categories are:

Louis Walsh – Over 28s
Dannii Minogue – Boys
Cheryl Cole – Girls
