Cheryl Cole has insisted that she won’t be miming when she performs her new single on Saturday night’s X Factor – but she won’t actually be performing it on Saturday night at all.
Instead, Cheryl is to pre-record her performance ‘live’ before the show, because of timing issues.
“I really don’t see the problem. I will be singing live, I just won’t have time to get changed and get prepared for the performance, and be a judge on the show. It would be too hectic.” Cheryl was quoted as saying in the London Evening Standard.
Cheryl Cole is to perform her new single ‘Fight For This Love’ on X Factor this weekend. But will she sing live, or will she mime as Alexandra Burke did last week?
Cherly admitted she was very nervous about the performance on Monday’s Chris Moyles show, saying:
“I’m absolutely terrified. The nerves started weeks ago. It’s really here and happening on Saturday. I love performing but I’ve sat for weeks judging people and now I’m putting myself out there to be judged.”
Reports in the Daily Mail suggest that she will mime, but surely all her fans want her to sing live? If it’s good enough for the contestants…
Jade Fubara was easily one of the star of last night’s X Factor, after she wowed the judges with her rendition of “And I’m Telling You”.
She won universally good comments from the judges, with Louis telling her she was “what the X Factor is all about”, Cheryl describing her as a “raw, amazing talent” and Simon ‘predicting big things’ for her.
As well as the usual singing competition, this year’s X Factor got a whole lot more interesting with the added style war between Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole. The battle has been running all through auditions and bootcamp, but you can expect things to reach fever-pitch when we get to the live rounds!
We’ve teamed up with fashion site boohoo.com to let you get the latest styles as worn by the judges and contestants.
