This weekend’s X Factor will star none other than 2005 winner Shayne Ward performing his new single, Breathless, which is to be released on the 3rd of December.
As well as that, there’s bound to be all the usual catfighting, name-calling, walkouts and blaming of poor song choices we’ve all come to know and love from the X Factor! Here’s when you need to be watching:

ITV1 - 6:45 - The X Factor - The remaining acts tackle modern classics covering the period 2000 to 2007. Simon, Sharon, Louis and Dannii give their views on the performances, and one of the acts leaves later.
ITV2 - 8:15 - Xtra Factor - Live gossip from backstage at the X Factor show. After getting the initial reactions on tonight’s performances, Fearne goes roaming to catch the tension ahead of the Results show.
ITV1 - 9:00 - The X Factor Results - Shayne Ward performs his new single and the two lowest-scoring acts perform in a final showdown, before the judges decide who stays and who leaves. Dermot O’Leary presents.
ITV2 - 9:45 - Xtra Factor Results - Fearne Cotton presents from backstage at the X Factor, where she chats to the acts and the guest mentor. Plus, celebrity fans discuss the night’s drama in the Xtra Factor Forum.
Bookies are predicting that whoever wins X Factor 2006 will be more than likely to get to the number one spot in the singles chart this Christmas.
With stiff competition from releases by Take That, Cliff Richard and also an all female quartet consisting of 16/17 year olds called “All Angels”, the X Factor winner is hotly tipped to follow in Shayne Ward’s footsteps, who won X Factor 2005 and then went on to claim the Christmas number one spot last year.
21- year old Shayne Ward has been flown to Los Angeles to undergo throat surgery to remove nodules from his vocal chords.
Top surgeons who have also operated on Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston in the past are operating on the star and reports say that he will be singing again in around 6 weeks.
Shayne is unable to speak at the moment, but has been keeping in touch with his girlfriend Faye by text.
Earlier last month, Shayne Ward sat for the sculptors at Madame Tussaurds in order for them to create his wax work double. Since the X Factor winner’s rise to stardom, the museum has been inundated with requests by fans to make Shayne the first reality TV star to be immortilised in wax.
On Monday, Shayne got to meet his wax double and declared “It’s just fantastic. I can’t get over it. My mum’s going to love it. She’ll probably want to take it home with her.”
Shayne also graciously donated a £900 Gucci suit for the figure to wear.
