Matt Cardle Wins X Factor 2010

The bookies favourite Matt Cardle has won the X Factor 2010. His winner’s song, a version of Biffy Clyro’s When We Collide will be released next week.

Both Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole said that his performance of the winner’s single was his best of the series. Dannii Minogue, his mentor, said that he was simply ‘amazing’.

  2. i love matt and am happy that he won but rebecca should have wone x factor cheryl cole backed cher all the way an left rebecca to her own divices. she just gave her a sons and let her get on with it. even at the end when matt won she could have stayed in stage to suport rebcca as a young vonvable mum who needed suport. i hope that you will back rebbeca as she is a shy and timmed mum of 2

  5. Guys, Awesome! Well done on such a terrific achievement with this series, it was oozing talent! All three finalists were worthy winners but Matt was beyond superb and I feel the right outcome was reached:O)

I was particularly pleased to hear the 1st/2nd place results — I want to massively congratulate Mary for her outstanding achievement, and wish her the utmost best for her future!! I believe that this competition and process will propel her into a life her absolutely desereves!!:O) Mwa!!

It is fantastic that Cheryl receives such wonderful comments about her look which she totally deserves, but i felt it important to say and acknowledge that Danny you too are awsomely stunning in your entire look/image throughout the series and huge congraultations for your mentorship achievements plus bravo to you the judge for me with the most unquestionable integrity across the board with all the talent, I have really begun to trust you the most, ozy, ozy ozy!!! oi, oi, oi!!

Hearts to you too Simon but i feel commericialism/pr looks to begin to cloud your comment in the latter stages??!

    Sue xo
PS – Jamie Archer is still my absolute favourite EVER!!!

  6. at least the instant boyband didn’t win and the musical taste of screaming teenage girls didn’t triumph after all – that would have been tragic the future of pop music would have been at stake…Wagner forever

  7. Justice is served! The right person won.
What does it matter if Rebecca is a mum? Its a tough industry, she needs to stand on her own 2 feet & she took it well.
Awesome song Matt, i’m a huge Biffy Clyro fan & it was nice to hear a different version on Many of Horror, even if Simon&co have renamed it to appeal to a wider audience…
    Well done Matt!!
