Katie Waissel and Belle Amie found themselves in the bottom two this week.
Belle Amie delivered a poor performance, with a number of members seemingly out of time with the backing track – a problem they later blamed on ‘technical difficulties’. Despite this the judges couldn’t agree on who to send home, and instead delivered a deadlock verdict, causing the decision to be based upon the results of the public vote. Belle Amie were announced to have polled the lowest, and so exit the competition.
Belle Amie, who were one of Simon’s two groups manufactured at boot camp from the solo rejects, still have a future according to Cowell: “I don’t think it’s the end for this group, they’re survivors.”

Wagner Carrilho, who made it through to the finals of X Factor on a wild-card choice, has reportedly caused chaos at a London restaurant after he was spotted by X Factor fans.
Wagner was having dinner with a friend in central London when he was discovered by fans. Soon a crowd had formed, and before anyone could stop them they had stormed the restuarant in an effort to meet him. Many were left with bloody injuries in the stampede, and ambulances had to be called.
An onlooker told the Mirror: “Wagner was having dinner with a friend when word spread around. A few of us were looking over at him, but soon people started to come inside to see him.
“Things got out of hand and staff couldn’t keep people out. The manager told them to leave but was swept aside in the hysteria and ended up with blood coming from his nose.
“But Wagner was thrilled about all the young ladies wanting to chat to him.”

Only one act left the X Factor this week, and the results of the public’s vote meant that it was Treyc Cohen vs John Adeleye in the bottom two singing for their survival in the competition.
John Adeleye sang Because Of You
first, before Treyc Cohen followed with One Night Only
.
Both Dannii and Cheryl voted to keep wildcard entrant Treyc, leaving Simon Cowell to decide whether too send home John or leave it up to the public vote. Simon said that purely on the basis of the sing-off he had to send John home, saying that he had failed to reach the level he achieved at audition on the live shows.
