We’ve been passed a bit of a scoop by an X Factor contestant – the judges categories for this year!
There’s been a bit of a change from previous years in that the ‘overs’ category is now the 28 and Over category – previously it was 25 and over.
The judges categories are:
Simon Cowell – Groups
Louis Walsh – Over 28s
Dannii Minogue – Boys
Cheryl Cole – Girls
Dannii Minogue and X Factor 2008 contestant Ruth Lorenzo are to team up to record an album.
Dannii hasn’t recorded since her 2003 album Neon Nights
. Ruth Lorenzo finished fifth behind eventual winner Alexandra Burke.
Dannii said: “Its been pushed back to my agenda for a long time. I think since X Factor came on the scene I’ve been heavily involved in the mentoring of other people and helping their music career. It’s kind of scary for me today because it’s like getting back on the horse.”

Cheryl Cole has missed much of the X Factor 2010 auditions stage after contracting malaria in Tanzania, but the latest rumours are that she’s getting back on her feet and back into the auditions stage.
Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger, girlfriend of Formula One star Lewis Hamilton, had been filling in for Cheryl, who was apparently terrified that Simon Cowell that Nicole might replace her for the whole series.
Cheryl has now re-taken her place as a judge, where it is also rumoured she has been allocated the Groups category.

Police had to be called to the hotel in north London where X Factor boot-camp contestants were staying.
Staff at Wembley’s Premier Inn called police at about 0130 BST to deal with the group of the talent show hopefuls. The contestants were to find out who had made it through to the next stage the morning after.
An X Factor spokesman said: “Contestants had an opportunity to relax after a week of intense rehearsal and performance.
“We have spoken to the individuals concerned, who have apologised for their behaviour.”
