They played her single and the listeners were invited to sum what they thought of it in one word (they did this with Alexandras single previously and she was SLATED)...... Every comment that Laura got was complimentary..`AMAZING` `AWESOME`etc.....even the DJ said `I cant understand this, even Alexandras single was massacred by the listeners`(or words to that effect) Then the DJ asked the producer to give a response....she cagily said `Oh give me some time to think about this..seriously i need some time..i will think about it and give you my answer in a while`......................10 minutes later the DJ pressed her again for a response and she said ` ok, my one word is ..................`COOL` (she said this very cooly) This just makes me think that there was no backing from Radio 1 whatsoever......I thought what a f*****g bitch! Laura was then put on the spot and asked to sing something.....she ummed and ahhd and then said, `ok, i`ll sing a bit from my single`...she then sang an amazing acapella which drew further complements from listeners. I just think its so unfair that Laura hasnt been given a break by the people that really have influence. At least get the song out on the airwaves and let the listeners decide! There is already Leonna Lewis and Alexander Burke, both strong popular artists. What Cowell wants and is determined to get by fair means or foul,is another Will Young. I beieve he has already one of his artists ear marked for this(guess who?). It cannot be coincidental that two of the strongest females have been in the bottom two in the last two weeks and guess who is next on his hit list? Stacey watch out!!.If the public want to put a stop to this farce then they should vote only for Stacey, the last girl standing and NOT vote for any of his acts. See how he could fix that??. I don't know anyone who is not of the opinion that this show is corrupt. M.
