It seems that Laura White, the subject of many furious comments when she left X Factor last year, is set to enter the top 20 with her debut single, You Should Have Known. The midweek charts show Laura at number 17, a respectable placing, especially given that Laura is signed to a smaller independent label.
You can watch Laura’s stunning new video below:

Well done Laura you deserve every success. Its a pity that this amazing single has been given no airtime on the radio whatsoever which makes this an even greater achievement! Isnt it about time they played it?. All I ever seem to hear is Cheryl Coles new single but much prefer Lauras. Cant wait for the album!

Fantastic single, goodluck Laura, you go girl, Simon you missed the boat on this one letting her go to another record label, that was a bit silly seeing as you knew how massive she was on the previous show….

Good single it needs to be heard and given some airtime. Give the girl some help, i think it could be a huge success if she had the chance! send her on x factor to perform it!

I thought that Laura was unique and went too early. This is what happens when people who nothing about music are in charge of voting!! It’s great to see that she is still going for it. She has done a great ‘pop’ song, but I would have loved to have heard her do something more individual. Maybe when she has established herself? She is a little like Amy Wine house for the uniqueness of her voice. Mt kids will buy her record and spread the word.

brilliant Laura. our household thought you should have won the x factor last year. nearly switched off in disgust but will this year after simon’s ridiculous behaviour this evening! i hope millions of others do the same next week- spread the word!!!!!! Mr cowell needs to be brought down a peg or two. hitting him in his pocket is probably the only thing he listens to anyway. Back to you Laura – your single is pure class and i will download it as should everyone who reads this blog. there is life after x factor…

Amazing song babe. You was really good on x-factor it was actually hard to choose as there was so much acts on there that had such amazing talents. I did vote for you most weeks! I love your new single i went onto you official page and this song “you should have known” was the song that i voted for so im happy but they where all good hun! Im so dissapointed with simon cowell becasue he should never ever of put them bloody twins through they do nothing but entertain they dont belong on x-factor.. x-factor is a singing contest not an entertaining contest and thats all the do. This year i want Ollie to WIN he is amazing.. like you!
.. who do you think will win?..

I live in Tampa Florida, USA and follow the xfactor every week. Just listened to Laura White and she is absolutely fabulous. What the hell were they thinking letting her go? I am so disappointed about Lucy leaving. Jackasses!!!
