It was Miss Frank vs Danyl Johnson in the bottom two tonight, and it was the end of the road for Miss Frank, the girl group formed from failed female auditionees.
As has now become traditional, the judges votes were deadlocked, so the final decision went to the results of the public vote, which meant that Miss Frank were out.
With Miss Frank’s departure, John and Edward are now the only group left in the competition. Can Louis win it this year?

How can anyone be voting for John and Edward – they are totally untalented , are unable to sing .. this is fast becoming a farce! We lose yet another talented act and they remain …. Car Crash television .. is it worth it?!

WHO are the DEAF people who persist in voting for John and Edward?? WHAT is the matter with this country…is there no accounting for peoples’ music tastes? Or is the voting/judging really fixed after all? I can’t believe the twins are still in the show…they should never have been there in the first place…they can’t sing AT ALL. Am I right in saying this is supposed to be a SINGING competition? They are far more suited to a ‘talent’ show like ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ or a karaoke night at their local pub. They are now solely responsible for allowing true talent to be voted off the show, far earlier than they should have been. I for one will not be watching or voting on this show again…it’s gone from being one of the biggest shows on t.v. today to the biggest farce I’ve ever witnessed….at least I have the choice to switch off!!

The way voting seemed so obviosly rigged last year stopped me from phoning in, and now after tonight’s debacle I feel more sure that there is some kind of jiggery pockery behind the results! Neither of these two deserved to be in a sing off and, win or lose this twisted attempt to incur more voting(revenue), I will put my money down that whatever the “final” outcome.Danyl is set to be an international star!!

It is interesting reading everyone’s comments and I have to say they all have very valid points. Yes, Cheryl did cop out, but if I remember correctly either last year, or the year before, Simon did a similar thing. Danyl is by far the best singer on the competition but for some reason the public do not seem to be voting for him. I don’t think it is a scam, but possibly either the public think he is safe, or comments made either in the press or on the show (where did Cheryl and Louis get the idea he was being cocky the other week??) are affecting his chances. I find it extremely depressing that as the years have gone by this show is being dragged deeper into the gutter and I firmly believe the judges themselves are to blame, as they are making the show about themselves and not their acts (if your being honest, how many of you watch to hear what the judges say about your favourite acts and whether or not an arguement will happen between them??). John and Edward are not the most talented but they do put on a performance (Chico anyone!!). If you really want them to be voted off then the judges need to stop being nasty, as that only rallies the public behind them, and the british public do not like to see anyone being bullied as this is how it looks with the booing and negitive comments. This show can no longer call itself a talent competition but a popularity show instead, which is a shame.

this is a fix, everytime i voted for miss frank the system responded saying thank you for voting for john and edward! i double checked the x factor website for the correct number and voted again only to receive the same message.
after 5 votes that were supposed to have been for miss frank, and five times being told the votes have been received for john and edward i gave up. the producers obviously want to keep the twins in the competition and will go to any lengths to keep them in.
this will be the last time i vote for anyone as the whole competition is rigged!

I would have been absolutly gutted if either of them went but miss frank were my favourites as they are unique and have distinct raw voices as does danyl.
If danyl goes then i probably won’t watch anymore as there is no point,everyone else has nice voices but they aren’t distinctive. It worries me when people vote for people because they are good looking or have ‘nice’ voices. It’s become a tragedy

The problem is that the contest this year seems to have become a popularity contest not a singing contest.
There’s no point blaming anybody but the British public for the way votes are getting cast. People are voting for the Twins because it is car crash TV. Stupid wee lassies are voting for Lloyd (aka mouse climbing a hill) not because of his singing voice but of his looks.
The 3 best singers in the contest are Joe, Danyl and Lucie yet they constantly get overlooked for those who are supposedly “interesting” personalities or have a look. Sorry but there is only so much I can take of barrow boy Olly and Stacey “Katherine Tate” Solomon.
I want to vote on the singing not them as individuals – I could not care less what sob story or gushing they do bak stage – it’s on the stage that matters.

People forget there’s a competition between the judges, and Simon plays it all the time. So, I don’t think Cheryl was gutless. Plus, I think Dannii should vote to put Danyl off. It’s a game as well, right?
For entertaining, Miss Frank offers a lot more than Danyl. He does the same thing all night. The forst audition was wow, but just it. Ge doesn’t deliver anything different.

This is a Talent Show and I can honestly admit hand on heart, that I cannot sing to save my life, but even I would sound better than the two prats dancing around stage, not only is their singing really bad, their dancing is even worse!!! I thought it was some kind of joke when louie put them through bootcamp, I cannot believe anyone is seriously voting them back week after week. I have yet to meet anyone who has voted for them. I am asking the phone regulators to check xfactor out, as I think something is not legit! I definately will not watch it again, and I think they will realise when the viewing numbers drop next week that we are not falling for it any more.

If you all watch the X Factor each year then surely you must realise that it has always been fixed. The voting is rigged and the producers obviously tell the judges who to vote in the sing off to try and generate more voting for the next show. The fact that the audience booed when John & Edward were called out shows what the general punlic really think. I used to vote on this show but not anymore – why should I give my hard earned cash to the TV bosses!!!

Calm down, calm down. It’s a television show, an entertainment show, for the viewers entertainment. Which viewers ? All viewers. My two kids love John and Edward, much more than both Miss Frank and Danyl. I’m sure if you did a poll of the UK’s (by the way the R.O.I cannot vote – so it’s UK viewers keeping them in) 6 – 16 year olds then John and Edward would probably win the show.
They won’t of course, as the whole of the population has the chance to vote not just the teenie boppers and I’m sure the support for them doesn’t extend quite that much. Put your kids down in front of the TV for an hour of John and Edward and an hour of Miss Frank or Danyl and see which one they watch and which one they get bored of in a few minutes.
Did any of you moaning, whinging haters actually vote for either Miss Frank or Danyl or did you just expect other people to do that for you? If you don’t like the show don’t watch it, but get a life, John and Edward are great entertainment and if you can’t see that them I for one feel very sorry for you.

Firstly, I must point out for the poster Vinne who posted yesterday, Us irish cannot actually vote from the republic so John and Edward certainly do not have our vote.
Anyone who i have spoken here that watches the X Factor detests John & Edward and want them voted off. What I have learned though is the people who hate the show and constantly slate it are infact the people that want to keep John and Edward in and win it, as they know it will forever ruin the credability of the show and thus, end it.
Louis Walsh has single handedly ruined the show. if John and Edward don’t go next week I think i’ll just stop watching it altogether, cos really…whats the point.

Got the message yet X Factor team (vote counters), the show is losing its credibility thanks to Pinky & Perky. Have loved the show from the beginning but J&E are making me turn it off and I refuse to vote as I do not want to be part of your cunning plan. Those two prats are taking up a place that should have been taken by others much more talented and worthy.

It will be such a shame if Danyl doesn’t win this show, only because he is by far the most developed artist right now, and would be the best representative of the UK to take the world stage and become an international star – like Leona and Will of previous years. Is the public missing this? Are some of the judges so set out to win for themselves that they are forgetting this too and can’t bring themselves to give praise where it is due? Is the vote for John and Edward some kind of protest vote to upset the applecart – like when the nation voted the non celebrity to win Celebrity Big Brother? As long as Simon takes Danyl to the recording studio regardless of what happens – let the children, the mean spirited judges and the petty minded voters have their fun…

I think that the final decision on Saturday absolutely should not have been left to the audience vote. It was obvious with two of the better acts ending up at the bottom that the public had definitely got it wrong and not voted for the singing performances but voting as if the prog was Britain’s Got Talent which X Factor isn’t. I think the judge should therefore have had the courage to make the decision which was for the best performance of the two which was obviously Danyl. I felt the judging was sadly finally based on the attempt of the judge to get out the other judge’s act and not on trying to save the ridiculous situation and ensuring that the program did not lose an excellent performer who has grown professionally every week.

I dont care if they are really ‘nice’ people they have NO talent! :L and people like miss frank and danyl in the bottom two is a joke. apparently they are now second faves to win next to joe who is the fave. if they win im not watching anymore. its PATHETIC.

i cannot believe miss frank and danyl were in the bottom two. danyl is my favourite to win.hes amazing and really does deserve a chance.miss frank were brilliant and i really liked graziella she was a real me type of person.those pesky twins are through yet again,it really is unbelievable.they should never have got through at all but like i said before no disrespect to the irish…louis only chose them because he’s irish.i do believe they should send john and edward home and bring back miss frank and wee rikki loney. pure talent and there over looked because of those horrid twins.i cant say i like them because i would be lieng but i dont hate them,at the end of the day they are someones children and im sure us mothers wouldnt like that said about our children. if this isnt a fix then the public are fruit loops..truely loopy :0)

This show should be re-named the brat Factor! How the hell are these useless brats still in it? Want me to tell you? All the irish in this country have got their finger on re-dial – permanently! Simon should intervene; either the Judges get them off or the show is cancelled – two words GET RID!! This is supposed to be a talent show; seen more talent in my cat’s backside than in those two – and you thought Susan Boyle was bad! Give me a pair of scissors and I assure you, that hair will go; and so will some other bits! THEY ARE CRAP and the irish and Louis Walsh know it; jokes over, time to get real – remember I told you!

The voting needs to be changed to a vote for the act you think should be eliminated. Only on finals night should it be for the act you want to win.
People would then genuinely vote for the act they think is the worst not vote for an act because they think it is funny or that act is good-looking.

xfactor used to be a talent show now its a forum for getting back at the judges,the two twins are rubbish not even entertaining STOP wasting good talent like miss frank and get rid of them at least when we watch it it will have some resemblence to a talent show and not a school ground karioke.

Look, to all the whining Irish, let’s get one thing straight! Nobody in the UK over 6 is voting for the pathetic brats and to say we expect others to do our voting for you is too crazy for words! If the brat twins weren’t in the X Factor, they would surely be in a looney bin – best place for them.
Come on everybody – vote the pathetic, arrogant, can’t dress/sing/dance/have a proper hairstyle OFF once and for all, before we ALL stop watching. Put simply, as soon as the prats are on, my TV is off – enough to make the cat sick!!!! I suggest, if god forbid they “perform”(?!) tonight, they do Barbie Girl – highly appropriate – they slaughered One More Time and She Bangs – do you know the Meerkat ad? Simples? If Johan and Edward are still in xfactor after this evening i will stop watching the show, nothing against the lads but they cant sing or dance,and someone with real talent will be voted off, i think xfactor now has had its day, John. Somerset.

Simon really is rubbish, he seems to have lost the plot and his much loved honesty.He always says he judges last 2 by the best performance but for the last 3 weeks it has always gone to the viewers vote . rachel was by far the best so why put her thro’ this humiliation and then not make a choice. A total cop out. Also can you all stop this collective bullying of John and edward, they have suffered the most appalling verbal abuse but take it on the chin and always come back and give their all, I have voted for them and I am only one of many who find them enchanting and never boring -so lay off , we are entitled to our choice. Many pop stars are **** singers but have number ones. Cheryl and Robby are you listening.
After tonight X factor is now a manipulated joke on us the viewer, save your money don’t vote but I WILl continue to vote for John and Edward

Omigodd…. I HATEED Miss Frank! Why did everyone like them.. And I didn’t really like Daniel either. I like Jedward parce que they are entertaining, and they get criticised so much every week and they always come back fighting. Think about it – if you were told things like what the judges have been saying, would you be able to come back or would you be really upset?
I know I would be… I think peeps are voting for them to piss of simon cowell- people don’t like him so they vote for them to piss him off. I like them though, they amuse me.
