It’s big band week again, and here’s what everyone will be singing:
John and Edward – She Bangs
Miss Frank – That’s Life
Olly Murs – Bewitched
Jamie Afro – Angel Of Harlem
Danyl Johnson – Feeling Good
Lucie Jones – My Funny Valentine
Rachel Adedeji – Proud Mary
Stacey Solomon – When You Wish Upon A Star
Joe McElderry – Sway
Lloyd Daniels – Fly Me To The Moon (In Other Words)
Take a listen to the originals below:

John and Edward
Do everyone a favour and leave the competition.
This is a singing competition and you know in your heart of hearts that you cannot sing.
You are never going to win and you are currently ruining everyone else (who can sing)chances by remaining in the competition.
Do the decent thing guys and leave.
People will respect you for it.

Olly mate
Take my advice.
You are a funk singer ( like Jay Kay)
Always pick funky stuff to sing as that’s your speciality)
All ther best

stacey solomon i think would be great covering barbera striesand. She comes across with a lovely personality that could end up movies.

Wow – Rachel’s a girl! What a transformation – she looked pretty and young so much so we could actually listen to her voice and not be distracted by dreadful butch hair and awful 80′s shoulderpads. A million times better.
Finally, it’s big band night. Had any of the other judges tried to put on a U2 song, Simon would have had them disqualified. His choice for Jamie was unfair and can only be called cheating.

One final thing – did someone advise Rachel to be more like Stacey or more bubbly and excitable as the OTT excitement in response to the judges’ comments was incredibly uncomfortable and came across as very insincere. A real shame as it undermined the greatperformance she had just done. Wonder if this is mmore bad advice from Dani?

Is it just me, or do Cheryl and Joe McElderry look like they are related? They are both from Newcastle, they both have the same eyes and teeth (before Cheryl got hers fixed), and hes the only one of her acts she keeps telling she loves… its worth thinking about.

@comment 6,I kinda agree with you. if You note, they both have like the same smile and dimples too.

I can’t believe John & Edward got through. This is meant to be a phoning contest when really it’s behind the scenes decides who goes through.Daniel and Miss Frank up against each other. They were far better than John & Edward.I think everyone now should boycot the phone lines!

Joe you are a great singer and I think you will get to the final and win it. Please stop wearing that stupid woollen hat. It’s so uncool and you look such a prat.

Simon Cowell is a coward. Dead Lock is a cop out and it was clear who was the winner tonight, and not just tonight. This is a singing competition and her voice and talent is 500% greater than Lloyd. Rachel losing is down to Simon’s fault for not calling it himself.
Comment by Cara-Lee — Sunday, 1 November, 2009 @ 20:59
disgraceful on you simon tonight you sat on the fence knowing full well lloyd was the worst performer on sunday and you let the worst performer on the night win shame on you thought you would have as a music mogul you would have chosen the right act to leave you sat on the fence and put out the better performer and she lost her chance for stardom fixed or what???? why did you do that ? what can you see the public didnt ??? fixed wont watch this again ever

This is ridiculous, another good singer went home and John and Edward are still in. I am sure that even if they win they will never be able to have a Number 1 no one will buy it, they are a nightmare. Please, please GO HOME!!!!!!!!

I cannot believe that John and Edward are still in. I have always argued when people say it is fixed but I am now beginning to believe it. When they give the results, 9 times out of ten they are in the last three. If it is in “no particular order” then this coincidence is odd to say the least. I think many people will stop watching if every year there is someone who can’t sing or dance and yet are chosen and then stay in every week.

Outrageous. No way should Lucie have gone home. Thought thats what judges were for!!! Why are they there if it is always gonna go to deadlock!Just cant watch anymore because its obviously a fix!!
