Lucie Jones, an 18 year old student, is the girl I’d tip to top this category, and possibly the whole show. As I write, her video on YouTube has had 2,133,142 views, but I rather think that for all the different types of songs they have to do, Lucie could be the one to creep through and get enough votes across the generations.

i think the judges have made an error in my humble view the young man who was in dannili cat last year was one of the top 12 singers this year.the way the singers are split amongst the judges is a formula that is flawed.i think they should have 4 extra spaces and they should be judged over 2 shows which they have sung.

I am sooooo annoyed. Why did Danii bring up Danyl sexuality in the judges comments in tonights show. The comments should be based on purely the singers talent and performance! Actually all of the judges apart from Simon really annoyed me – picking on him. Its only because they know he is really good and has a good chance in winning the competition and they are all trying to play little games to crush his confidence. Maybe they should be worrying about their acts and not slating Simon’s. !!!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhh. I love Danyl and people should lay off the twins – they’re 17 years old for goodness sake give them a break.

I have been a big fan of xfactor for years. I am very annoyed when watching the xtra factor…the only person that was interviewed that phoned in was against the twins. u …ie itv want rid of them Can people not accept that louie put them through cause he thought they might have potential…i know the media have give them abuse but can itv please give them a break.They are not as bad as u all make out.

Its sad to see that the X factor has moved on from Judging peoples talent as singers and is now judging what the contestants do with their personnel lives. Its all about the judges and not about the contestants any more. Danni very poor shot to bring Danyl Johnson down. He is a good singer and a very confident one too. If being Confident is the meaning of being cocky then Louie Walsh should throw out his Irish dictionary and buy an English one and look up the actual meaning. Sorry to say the Judges comments were demoralizing last night.

I am too, shocked at Danni’s comment about Danyl Johnson. But cut her some slack guy’s. Im sure she regrets it dearly and she has apologized (and so has simon on her behalf) for her comments. We’ve all said something stupid once in our life that we regret. Just too bad for her she said it on national TV the donut. Lets concentrate on the half decent contestants instead.

Dont listen to Louis’ comments “disliked by the public” what does he know We love you Danyl. You have the judges saying in the one breath to contestants “believe in yourself and have more confidence” when they do they say “you’re cocky” so you cannot win. Danyl does not come across cocky. He is just oozing self confidence and can actually sing and perform spectacularly. As for what Danni said, it was completely out of order. Hers and cheryls comments about the way Kandy Rain were dressed – Has Cheryl looked in the mirror – for the way Girls Aloud have dressed on some occasions, after all they would say its a show they are putting on and would not drsss that way day to day – the same applies. It was for that reason Cheryl and Danni voted them off.

As Danyl did a couple of really over the top performances I felt that Saturday he gave the best performance of the night, yes Danni made comments but surely he is doing himself no favours by doing things that are going to be picked up by the press. Sexuality should not come into play but unfortunately if Danyl’s friends keep feeding the fire with these stories then it could all escalate out of proportion. On another note why! why! why! are the twins still there they were choreographed to look good by using every theatrical effect possible

I have been a huge fan of the Xfactor since it started. This year I am not feeling it so much. The judges looked so united in the auditions. But the live shows, it seems the claws are out! What about that bitchy comment from Danni? A bit unfair on Danyl I thought he gave an amazing performance. Cheryl should take a look at what Girls aloud were at times!!! Big band night I agree with Louis when he said Simon would’nt let anyone else get away with it, letting Jamie Afro sing a UB40 song. But also at the same time Rachel did’nt sing a big band number. Jamie has a good voice and can entertain but maybe to much like a rocker and not an all rounder.

Simon said that the performance of the twins was appalling. I agree. However, he is jeopardizing his and the show’s credibility saying that Cheryl’s singing was fantastic because it is at the same level as te twins’. DOes he thik that the viewers are stupid and cannot see behind it ? I am quite disappointed.
Sorry but as he says, it is the truth ! Even the production of the show doesn’t want it to be the case for commercial reasons. They shouldn’t have left her singoing in the first place. She has never been a good singer, why would this change now because she is on the X factor ????

I have never been a fan of television due to all the rubbish they deem to call entertainment,but thought I would give up three hours a week to watch what I though would be GOOD entertainment,How wrong I was.Despite this being added to my pile of tv rubbish,(and not worth even recycling) I cannot bring myself NOT to watch it until the bitter end,to see exactly how bad this show can get,I think Simons face and comments say it all every time those twins are mentioned.How can anybody except their family and friends think that they are better than the two acts voted to the “sing off” tonight. I cannot beleive these two jokers are still in the competition. The whole point of the show is to find someone with the x factor, that special something. Clearly as we can all see they have no factor what so ever and should never have been allowed onto the show. I think it is a fix and I am sure that Louise Walsh is managing to fiddle the system somehow. Because of them two good contestants ended up in the sing off. We all know that should never have happened. I honestly beleive that if these two clowns did win this would be the end of the show as millions would think the show was definiteley fixed. I have not met one person who likes them and there are petitions all over the web where people are questioning why they are still in and they all want them off the show. Wake up x factor.

They should never have been chosen at the auditions and Louis most certainly should not have chosen them for his final three. Simon: If you want to know why your guy Danyl is struggling to survive even though he’s the most talented singer up there, try watching last night’s sing-off without the sound. Bottom line is attitude. Danyl’s problem is, he’s got the attitude of a winner, and that’s contrary to the whole ‘cinderella story’ dunamic of your show. Danyl can command the stage, but its too clear that he does so, and that’s not what people want. They want him to be glad for his chance. They want him to play out their own cinderella fantasy. They want him to be great, but not know it. They want him to be something he’s not. His days are numbered.

I must admit I was on the point of never watching the show again when Danyl was in the bottom two. He has been consistently one of the best throughout the entire thing. As Simon said, it’s a joke; the X Factor is getting as bad as the Eurovision Song Contest for being more a case of politics than singing talent.

Simon put ratings before integrity. He said he would draw a line under it and judge the best song on the night. The twins sang a song he had derided a couple of weeks before. He was powerful and unfair and I will not watch it again. He has lost so much respect.

What is the point of Simon Cowell and the Sunday show if he will not make a decision, you may as well stop the sing off on Sunday and just use the public votes to decide who is voted off. Strickly come dancing manages to get all the votes in in 15 mins you could do the same, cancel the Sunday show and put the money saved to better use.
