If you’ve seen our leaked X Factor final 12 list you’ll know that girl group Trucolorz failed to make it through. What you wouldn’t have known though, is why.
The girls were seen on last weekend’s X Factor expressing concern over Louis Walsh being their mentor, as they felt he didn’t like them at their first audition. What they should have been more worried about was the fact that one of them had broken X Factor rules by lying about her age – she was in fact 15 and not the 16 years old required to enter the X Factor.
Louis broke the news to them, and the girls were said to be ‘devastated’, but have vowed to try again next year.

Great news for X Factor fans – this year you can vote for your favourites on the live shows for free!
Once the live shows start, all you need to do is decide who you want to vote for, and then visit free2call, where you’ll be given a local-rate number to dial. Dial the number for your favourite contestant, listen to a 15 second advert and your vote has been cast! The free2call website isn’t live until the X Factor live shows start in a couple of weeks.
Do you think this will make more people vote? Do you vote anyway, and do you think this will just encourage people to vote more often? Let us know with a comment below!

Despite admitting they watch it every week, and that “it is a good way to make it in the music industry”, Dougie and Harry from McFly have spoken out against the X Factor, pointing out “here’s thousands and thousands of people that enter but it’s one person a year, and generally from The X Factor it’s only Leona Lewis that’s been successful.”.
“Who else has been successful? There was Will Young from Pop Idol, Leona Lewis… Girls Aloud.
But that’s three people and there’s been like 15 of these shows now so it’s tough, because people get built up and built up and they win or they get into the final.
And people keep banging on about how their lives are going to change and stuff even after the first audition stage, and then they’re just knocked back down again.”
