Cheryl Cole Furious with Louis Walsh

Cheryl Cole is reportedly furious with Louis Walsh after his shock vote to eject Laura White from the competition on Saturday.

Quoted in the Mirror, a source said:

“Cheryl was incandescent with rage and let her feelings be known.
She was absolutely furious and was giving him what for. No one has ever seen her so angry but she is really passionate about her acts.”

Laura White also spoke out about the incident, saying “Cheryl was really angry last night. She doesn’t know whether it was a personal thing from Louis or what. I think she’s just really upset because she feels I was one of the strongest singers and she feels robbed.”

Judging by the massive number of comments we’ve had, Cheryl isn’t the only one furious at seeing Laura leave the show.

  1. The only reason that Simon and Louie voted Laura off was because she posed the biggest threat to their remaining acts. It was tactical on their part but we shouldn’t forget that it was lack of public support that put her in that position in the first place. I think I’ve just watched my last edition - it was a farce!

  2. i am totally shocked but at the same time every1 knows that laura will end up being bigger than the x factor winner anyway she is so talented! personally i believe she should do a song with cheryl it would be amazing! keep your head up laura your fantastic

  3. X Factor this year is getting increasingly annoying. It’s not a singing competition, it’s an ego trip for the judges. Last two weeks, two of the strongest singers in the competition voted off for reasons that make no sense other than judges determined to win and voting of the competition. It’s getting to the stage where I don’t know if I can be bothered to watch it.

  4. Xfactor is a joke it should be renamed the “sympathy factor”! All good singers leave as should the tv ratings!! Sack it off

  5. I am outraged that Laura was voted off by Simon & Loui, it makes the whole show a farce. I will not be watching it now. I am sure Laura did not get the public vote becuase her fans (including me) thought she was safe but if she had been saved her fans would then realise and would have voted going forward. Loui & Simon seemed to do some tactical voting to save their acts as Laura was the biggest threat. Simon, you are an idiot as it’s your pocket she would have lined if she had got through. If any record producers that appriciate a good talent are listening then sign this girl up, she is brilliant.

  6. I am a 45 yr old housewife who has never logged onto a website like this before, but I am so shocked and disgusted at what the public and judges simon and especially louis have done by voting off the fantastically talented Laura White , that I had to make my feelings known! Louis should be voted off< he has clearly lost his marbles! Rachel was off key, Daniel is really mediocre, and Owen often very shaky and overrated . Have the judges got hearing problems? I will not be watching X-Factor again as it is a farce. The super talented like Laura get voted off and the ones with the best sob story remain in!!!!I Its a disgrace.

  7. the last 2 weeks have left a bad taste in my mouth 1st Austin then Laura..this is sopposed to be a singing contest…simon needs to start thinking with his head not his…well (ruth) enuff said….this years program promised to be the best one ever the talent was really good..now the whole program has desended into a farce..rachel was terrible..daniel was actually pretty good this week..(for a change).eoghan.. is and always has been average,diane..didn’t even sing..so why did she get a bye…oh perhaps they thought well she want get voted off anyway…really ..all i will say is Austin and Laura..neither of them could of expected to be voted of yet….time for the program to have a little juggle…maybe the mentors should stay as mentors.. and new judges are brought in with no axes to grind..and no primal urges …simon (ruth)….

  8. What a joke. It is quite clear that the judges are voting off the competition and they are making the show all about them and their egos. Laura was an outstanding talent and should never have been voted off the show. I will not be following the show anymore as I think it’s become ridiculous, the judges are spoiling it with their childish, egotistical behaviour. I really hope that Laura goes on to become the star that she deserves to be and sticks it to Louis!!!

    Comment by Sammy — Monday, 10 November, 2008 @ 15:50

  9. Although Laura was such a strong singer and didnt deserve to be in the bottom two .. Ruth completely out sang her in the sing off. Ruth just picked the better song and put more passion into it.

The real question is how is Daniel still in the competition?

  10. Laura you have just walked off a stage to do greater things. You will make it,the Laura way. Stay true to yourself. You got out just in time,it was perfect timing.

  11. clearly raquel should have been voted of her singing and winging and crying were appalling, and mugging an old lady for her money should have disqualified her or does crime really pay,or are we seeing political correctness at its worse, poor laura a better singer by far who has no criminal record and she’s kicked out, maybe there’s hope for singing suicide bombers

    Comment by eamon — Monday, 10 November, 2008 @ 17:07

  12. Laura voted off makes a joke of this competition which is fast becoming a competition between Simon and Louis. Petty nonsense. I wont be watching anymore.

    Comment by ann roberts — Monday, 10 November, 2008 @ 19:29

  13. As I see it the judges must have heard all the songs sung in rehearsal and seen the acts perform them’
A comment by Simon on the show just before Laura came on said something like Laura may be at risk tonight.
So it appears in some cases judgement has already been made and discusions between judges taken place prior to the show going live.
I feel that this show is no longer about the acts and nerturing talent such as Laura,s but the egos of the judges and tactical voting off of between judges.
Its a shame the this show is loosing its credability for the sake of personal attacks between judges.

    Comment by Steve — Monday, 10 November, 2008 @ 19:32

  14. Personally I think that Ruth Lorenzo(irrespective of wot ppl think btw simon and her) was so brilliant in her sing off and deserves the chance she was given in the competition. She’s as good as Laura if you Judge on Talent, plus her voice is clearer even wen loud than Laura’s who always has to keep shouting to high and low notes and she depends on it too much.
It was not a case of Laura and Daniel or Laura and Rachel in the bottom 2 as ppl are not realising.
Most of her fans probably tot she (Laura) was safe and needed not vote for her.Maybe that’s wot caused her to find herself in the bottom 2 and put her in such a vulnerable position to be booted off easily.
Daniel and Rachel’s fans obviously voted (in their millions)for them to show their support as they did not stand the likely chance of remaining in the competition and their support paid off.

It could have been differnt if Diana was present too.

    But Alexandra to Win.

  15. Due to the exceptional circumstances Saturdays X Factor presented, if you agree that tactical voting should not be permitted and that the public vote alone should decide which contestant leaves the show, please sign the following petition:

  16. I have never been so pissed off for a long time for such stupidness. Obviously i cannot blame dannii as ruth is in her group, but as for simon and louis they were very much out of order.Too be honest with you the only reason why i would x-factor was too watch lauras performance as she is supberb. Out of all of the singers Laura is the ONLY ONE that can sing in great harmony. from the beginning her vocals have always been strong. even when she sang in front of mariah carey, she had no advice to give whereas for the rest of the singers she had to give some sort of advice so that they could improve. i cannot beleive laura did get through. i am not normally an emotional person but because of this it caused me to cry. I really do hope and pray that laura gets signed. Its all left to Alexandra to win 100%. Louis especially u suck! U have also lost so many x-factor fans because of this.

    Comment by Sarah — Monday, 10 November, 2008 @ 21:01

  17. The only way to get this back to a talent contest is to make a rule of no sob stories or anything else that might attract a sympathy vote in future.
Problem is that the producers would be too scared to make such a rule as they would be afraid of losing viewers and so getting less money for their and the judges’ pockets.
They are taking advantage of the public and the poor hapless contestants.
    It’s shameful.

  18. Laura was absolutely crap. Get real.

    Comment by Andy — Monday, 10 November, 2008 @ 22:36

  19. I couldn’t believe Louis could stoop so low to vote Laura off the show. He obviously saw her as a big threat as he so desperately needs his only remaining group to have a fighting chance. And as for Simon, having already told Laura that she was world class, then decided to vote her off too! The programme seems to be a competition between the judges and not the contestants. I was outraged and shocked to see this happening on what is supposed to be a talent show and not personal bickering between the judges…..the show has turned into a JOKE!!!!!

    Comment by Rosemarie — Monday, 10 November, 2008 @ 22:40

  20. I cannot believe that Simon Cowell & Louie Walsh can behave in such a despicable manner. Laura was one of the true contenders for the final and the fact that neither Simon or Louie have an act left worthy of that means that they use underhand methods to get rid of the truely good singers. Austin first and now Laura. I suppose Diana will be next. If this happens then both Simon & Louie will have lost what little respect either of them has left with the voting public. I would be very interested to know what the outcome would have been had the vote gone to Deadlock. Not the outcome we had, I’m sure.

    Comment by Christine — Monday, 10 November, 2008 @ 22:59

  21. neither ruth or laura should have been in the bottom two but i have to say that Ruth was much better in the sing-off. She’s a real rock chick!
One Question Though, that’s really bugging me -
    WHY IS DANIEL STILL IN?

    Comment by C — Monday, 10 November, 2008 @ 23:15

  22. Whatr are you going on about ruth won fair and square. She sung better when it came to it. People should be sticking up for ruth coz laura was so up herself complimenting her own performance like it was the best and she thought she was strongest singer in the competition.SHE WASN’T!!! Besides if she was that good the public would have kept her in. Ruth has more personality than Laura and is an individual!!!!!

    Comment by Jenny and Sarah — Tuesday, 11 November, 2008 @ 09:21

  23. Who cares? The entire show is cr*p and serves only as a money making vessel for Simon ‘nimrod’ Cowell!

    Comment by Bazmund — Tuesday, 11 November, 2008 @ 12:19

  24. Laura is a class act and should never have been voted off? Even Ruth is a talented singed and we all know Simon fancies her, so she was kept in but the biggest shock ever, Rachael? EH! How the hell can somebody who was clearly out of tune and flat as a pancake get through over these two? You know why, its a fix.

The show has lots tonnes of credibility now, two of the best acts up for a vote off when it should never have happened. What the hell has Rachael got except bad attitude!

The show is about the judges ganging up on each other having a stab at each other, Simon and the idiot Louis, where the hell does he come from? Dani looks like she is out of her head! And Cheryl, the only real person amongst them and the only really talented person!

    FIX FIX FIDDLE FIDDLE.

  25. i am so sorry for laura white she was my no 1 winner. but at the same time it was the british public that put her in the final 2 and no-one else. if i had been in louis shoes i would have put it to the vote, then louis is free fromblame.

    Comment by julie — Tuesday, 11 November, 2008 @ 14:11

  26. Its truly regretable that the X factor has fallen to its current level. Surely the showcase for British Talent should not depend on the dogfights of four so called judges to increase viewing/voting figures. What happened to Laura on Saturday was an absolute disgrace. We all know why Simon voted the way he did (sick man) and Louis, well, his efforts to cover his tactical vote were pathetic.Dannii and Cheryl have remained consitant throughout - both have encouraged and complimented the finalists week on week. Simon/Louis just trade insult upon insult.I am not saying Laura would have won 2008, but she would have certainly been there or there abouts had her future not been decided by two males whose egos are so unbelievable. Laura, young lady, stay true to yourself, you will be fine and be grateful that you wont end up as another piece of “Cowell Fodder”. You are far better than that.

    Comment by Larry — Tuesday, 11 November, 2008 @ 14:12

  27. Simon should bring back Laura White and give her another chance and maybe then viewers will change their voting habits and vote for the best singers instead of the saddest sob stories. Peter Kay got it right with his send-up of reality shows when you could not win without a sob story. Rachael and Daniel were awful on Saturday night and they should both have gone home.

    Comment by margaret reece — Tuesday, 11 November, 2008 @ 14:17

  28. After watching X Factor from day 1 of it starting and my life being planned round X Factor on a Saturday, I have to say I think I am done with it. I used to love this show but it’s not about the singers anymore. Blimey it makes me want to audition though as it appears to be the singers who can’t sing are the ones doing well. I’m sure I could come up with some sob story, get my boobs out for Simon and put on an Irish accent for Louis, I’d be well away.

    Comment by Lisa — Tuesday, 11 November, 2008 @ 15:12

  29. I was stunned when Laura was voted off. She and Alexandra have been consistently strong since the beginning. All finalists are are a high standard and many still improving but consistently good is what promoters need and had in Laura.

I believe that the public all believed she was safe and therefore voted for weaker contestants for her to be in the bottom two.

Ruth is very good too and as much as I love Laura, if I am honest and judging just on the sing off, Ruth was better. What lovely girls both Ruth and Laura are, this put them a head and shoulders above the rest.

I think Laura will get where she’s want to be without winning X Factor as she has REAL talent.

    Comment by Lynne — Tuesday, 11 November, 2008 @ 16:21

  30. Something needs to be done about the voting system. I think that the judges should choose the bottom 2 and then the public votes on that, maybe even that wouldn’t work, but there is a screw up in the system somewhere because the worst are not being voted off! The result on Saturday is going to put a lot of people off watching X-Factor, because it is not a true reflection of the talent, and the judges are not giving a true proffessional opinion regardless of who’s group they are in. Maybe there should be no groupings, that way they would vote properly and leave their egos behind!

    Comment by Mo — Tuesday, 11 November, 2008 @ 16:33

  31. this is the first year I have ever watched the live shows, most years were full of nobodies that you couldnt care about and didnt need to because when christmas came and went, so did they. I feel that the whole show this year was tailored more towards a maturer audience with strong candidates and a majority grouping of great singers. This show has always been touted as a singing competition with the aim of finding those with the x factor. whats gone wrong this year? someone in the editors suite is obviously having a laugh by placing danni on the judges pannel, how can a witless talentless “singer” judge the contestants who, whilst unsigned, have more of a talent than her? The show said good bye to austin who was fantastic. now laura’s gone, meaning daniel and rachel are still in. how? daniel is rediculous, had it not been for his dead wife, he’d never have got through boot camp…the decision was made for viewing figures and not votes. He clearly cant sing to save his life and is reliant on a campain started by a chris moyles to keep him there. How the show can justify loosing laura and keeping him, is beyond me. Rachel is everything that is bad about britain today. A criminal, waste of space, poor mother and should be spending the rest of her life breaking rocks and not prancing on stage throwing school girl hissy fits. The show has become a joke, with louis and simon seeing who can throw the biggest insult. I gave the show a chance……never again!!!

    Comment by simon — Tuesday, 11 November, 2008 @ 16:46

  32. the whole show is a descrace! why the hell was laura voted off, if the judges had any sense atall then they would realise how stupid they are being. ruth is only good at rock songs, when it comes to r’n'b or pop shes no good. the results should be down to the public ad the public only. simon, louis, danni and cheryl should be mentors and mentors only.. if it had of gon 2 dead lock laura would be singing next week.. how can even danni save ruth even though its her own act she was awful compared to laura. personally i think danni needs to get over herself, she is plastic and is living off kylie’s famee.

DIANAAA I LUV U, UR A WINNER ( UNLESS OVCOURSE THE JUDGES VOTE U OFF BECAUSE THEY CANT BEAR TO BE BEATEN)

  33. Its BLOODY outrageoous that Laura White is not in the competition anymore!!! Not only can she sing but she is beautiful and real RAW talent!!!
That is me finished with X Factor I used to really enjoy X Factor now I think it is a total JOKE!! and a FIX!! First Austin now Laura???? they are the people who can actually sing!! Now can I ask the question who CD would you actually want to but and listen too??? Laura or Ruth screaming down the mike??
is it just me or is Louis getting on anybody else’s nerves???? what does he slaver about?? One week he says Laura with the VOICE and the next he teams up with Simon talking alot of nonsense about Laura’s wardrobe neither of who are eligable to give anyone advice on clothing??
I hope Laura does well at least you will be able to do music in your own right and not have the X Factor label attached to you I would certainly buy your album…………As for X Factor Adios!!!!! no wonder X Factor didn’t win the NTA Award the public are starting to see right through it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  34. the fact of the matter is she was voted in the bottom two by the public, which leads me to the conclusion racheal must have a million relatives and oghnogh got the paddy vote. Laura was one of the strongest contenders but she was poor on Saturday. Ruth blew her away in the playoff.

    Comment by jon boggle — Tuesday, 11 November, 2008 @ 21:19

  35. Laura should not have been voted off the X Factor. She has an amazing voice. She should not have been in the sing off but neither should Ruth. There are at least 3 very weak singers still in the competition! Rachel seems to think she deserves the world, because shes had a drug habit and has been in prison?! If thats the way it works,i should be a millionaire! Louis should have voted for Ruth to go, which would then take it to the public vote. He has been praising Laura through the whole show, calling her a star and “the voice”, then he votes her off. Strange little man!!

    Comment by kj — Tuesday, 11 November, 2008 @ 21:21

  36. Whilst it may be true that the judges are being pathetic (apart from Danni, she’s got her head screwed on, and I don’t mind simon most of the time as his criticism is constructive)I believe ruth and Laura were both equally as good, and no matter which one of them went it would have been unfair. But at the end of the day, why go mad at Louis? Fair enough he’s an annoying little Irish dude and his face makes you want to hit yourself, but c’mon.. one of them HAD to go. Face it. What’s all the controversy for, she isn’t going to come back. Get on with your life! And Cheryl needs to get over it too, I really liked her being a judge at first, but now it’s getting out of hand, I hope to god she ain’t in the next series, that would drive me mad, she’s faker than her fake bake. She’s just a pretty face and nothing more :)

  38. hi,

Actually, I really dont think Laura should have gone yet, but eventually she would have…in my view she isnt the best, and the competition is so close. I actually think we should be saying goodbye to Rachel who sang as flat as a pancake on Saturday. She has done well to get through and all credit to her…but her time is up.

    Comment by RUTH — Tuesday, 11 November, 2008 @ 23:49

  39. The X factor! is an absolute disgrace. It is all about the judges conflict and as a result brilliant singers such as Austin and Laura are been voted off. It is all a gimmick. Alexandra is clearly the best singer left but as this years show is all about the sympathy vote dont be suprised if Daniel wins. Rachel needs to be voted off she has over stayed her welcome if we could vote in Ireland she would be long gone.

  42. Congratulations to Laura for the mature handling of her case while on BBC Breakfast 12/11/08.
There is a case to be had for people not bothering to vote when all the indications are that an act is secure.
Good also to see the act’s support each other behind the scene’s (Ref Diana smiling at the fire works party.Sad that the sun don’t recognise the contractual pressure’s put on this amazing group of people.)

  44. I think Ruth is good enough to reach the final. I thought this of Laura too. Neither deserved to be in bottom two. Diana didn’t sing. She doesn’t deserve a bye! Harsh but unfair on those who were up for vote. Rachel got good comments but unless I have no ear for music she was badly off key several times and Daniel… well how he even got to boot-camp I will never understand.

I will not be watching this show anymore.

  45. personally i dont think its about the judges its about money making. the winner is already chosen. and its the person or persons that simon thinks will make him the most money. and i think it has been this way since steve brookstein won the x factor and flopped. the whole arguing etc is just for entertsinment and us voting is a waste of time and money. if my theory is true then the reason daniel is still in is so that when we get closer to the final and he then gets voted off, noone will question it. they are getting rid of the stronger acts now(that are not the “winner) to get rid of the competition!!

anyway just a theory. probably not the case but there is summat not right.

    Comment by lindsay — Wednesday, 12 November, 2008 @ 13:40

  46. Laura is a fine singer. Diana is appalling quite fun for two songs then really annoying but hey she’s only 17 so could get brilliant if she stops being a watered down attempt at Sinead. She shouldn’t have had a bye or should have been given the opportunity of coming back next year when she would have been much better anyway. As usual the styling, staging and song choices are laughable, tacky and old fashioned. Rachel sang flat as a pancake. as Eoghan did last week.
It’s basically the Camp Factor, so give it a rest, let’s just watch the auditions and leave the live shows behind closed doors, then we can see them all at Butlins next Feb.. soooooooo bored with the X how about Zzzzz Factor if you can’t admit the campness.

  47. The x factor mmmm ???? i thought this show was about talent and not who has best sob stories. Laura White should never had been in the bottom 2, let alone be voted off last saturday. But dont you find it abit strange that people must not of voted for her ????????, im sick of the sympathy vote. Well Diana gets a free pass to the next round and maybe if she dont sing this week she will get another free pass again. I like Diana but in most competitions if your unwell your out/

  48. I think the days of xfactor’s popularity is drawing to a close, I for one will not watch one more programme. It has become a shambles, not about talent anymore, it is in my book a disgrace and Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell are a couple of absolute idiots……

Laura went home cause she was voted in the bottom two, Ruth was far far better, all you laura fans stop the complaining if you care that much about her you should’ve voted for her, end off. she went home and they are far better singers left, let the show go on, Eoghan( this is how you correctly spell his name) to win everyone in Ireland is behind you. Eoghan to win

  52. Last week’s show was an absolute farce! Laura and Ruth should not have been in the bottom two. Rachel was out of tune (I’m amazed Simon didn’t comment on this) and why are we treated to all the sob stories before they actually sing. It is after all a singing competition!
Diane was given a by to the next round because of laryngitis yet she was shouting and screaming a few nights before at the fireworks! The only way the show can retain any credibility would be to cancel last weeks result, bring back Laura and run that round again hopefully with Diane back in.

  53. This is clearly not a singing competition if one of the best voices cannot win it. Why are Eoghan and Daniel still there?

    Comment by Caz — Thursday, 13 November, 2008 @ 14:27

  54. The X Factor format is obviously working well this year going by the amount of dicussion and outrage on the ‘net and in the media. Face facts, it’s a Saturday Night Entertainment Show - if Simon Cowell was really looking for musical talent, he’d be doing it on the radio. The great British public has a penchant for underdogs (look at John Sargant on Strictly)- that’s why Daniel and Rachel are still there. Pre-pubescent girlies will always vote for the ‘non-threatening boy’ candidate like Eoghan and last year’s Leon. And the rigid ‘all-round entertainer’ format discriminates against anyone with original talent, like Laura - and don’t be surprised if Diana goes out as well. Just sit back and enjoy it for what it is.

  55. i think that laura leaving the x factor is totally wrong we all know why simon and louis voted to keep ruth in the show, and i’m sure they weren’t voting with their head (say no more) the only reason we will be watching the x factor this week is to see leona the one good thing left of the show. I hope that laura gets the record deal she rightly deserves, as apart from alexandria she was the only one who was worth watching. As from next week we won’t be watching x factor again, as we feel cheated..

  56. i think when it comes to two good singers being in the bottom two then let it go to the public vote save all the hassle makes it much fairer if being voted off is fair for any of the contestants jls 2 win i think they r good and should be given a chance instead of the solo artists

  58. i dont agree with laura going i think it was a big mistake and the judges should have thought again but i also think that would have been a tough cookie as i feel that Ruth does have talent and sometimes she just gets given the wrong song! GIVE HER A CHANCE TO PROVE HERSELF! And as for Rachel of those who think that because she has done wrong in the past doesnt make her a bad singer everyone makes mistakes but the only thing is most people wont admit it well at least Rachel does!!! i think Rachel should win and have done from day one!!! When she sang Dirty Diana she owned tht stage. Along with Diana who i cant beleave didnt get to sing but it would make a difference as she has a fab voice anyway and wouldnt have been sent home i also feel that when she sang man in the mirror it was impossible to find words to decribe how amazing she was!!! RACHEL TO WIN!!! Diana is fab and will get far x

  59. Laura was in the bottom two last week subject to public vote. I agree. Her performance wasn’t as good as usual. Rachel was terrible, and has been throughout. She should have been voted off, but the public seem to be keeping her in. Laura was definitely weaker on the sing offs. Poor Ruth doesn’t have a home town to vote for her, so she is doing really well. JLS are the best contestants anyway.

  60. Look i dont understand why everyone is bad mouthing Diana Vickers. Yes she was shouting two days before the live saturday night show, which is most likely to be one of many reasons inwhich she could not sing saturday. Everybody was told that Diana would not be singing that saturday and no one was complaining, but as soon as people saw Laura White was the one going, you all want to blacken her name.
I think it was very fair that Diana missed the live show as she could could of lost her voice. STOP THE CONSTANT COMPLAINING IT IS A COMPERTION LAURA IS GONE as sad as it is GET OVER IT!!! Good luck to the remaining acts. Hope everyone will give Diana Vickers a break. Just Imagine if it was YOU in Dianas place and YOU had people accusing YOU!!!

  61. I’m shocked that Laura wasn’t kept in. There were people on Saturday’s show whose singing was very much worse than hers. She, at least, sang in tune!

I really think she’s very good. And I like Ruth. I wouldn’t have liked to choose between them. But of course they aren’t the acts who should have been in the bottom 2 - if it had been on talent alone rather than on how big a following they have.

  62. Another poor juudgement - just finish watching Xfactor results and cannot understand how Diana managed to make it to next week, I have never since stat of series understood a word she has sung and to-night wasa no differant- I think the public voting needs to be reviewed as a I am sure that Diana, was a simpathay vote and no way should she be in Final. Rachel leaves a lot to be desired rules are rules for any Competition and if she breaks them the shoe producers and judges should deal with her accordingly

  66. Laura is great, but she shot herself in the foot with the piano act ! Soon as I saw her on the stool, I knew she would end up in the bottom two. Reminded me of Russ Conway, but the biggest mistake of her short career. Why on earth did she d that - ego ?

I agree with Louis, she was unlikely to go much further, but who know what could have been if she hadn’t brought the roof down on herself. I’d loved to have won, but that moment is past.

Why do posters forget that it’s a game? Not about who is the very best, but who can keep their acts in - get real folks. Laura is history - down and out.

  67. oh my god the mouse as done it again , yet another free ticket to the next round, i didnt understand a word she tried to sing on saturday, it was just lot of sqeeks and stupid noises, she should of gone 2 weeks ago, if anyone wants to do a impression of diana just wet ya fingers and rub them down glass lol lets get rid of her .

    Comment by steve — Monday, 17 November, 2008 @ 12:08

  68. Why are not all the acts entered into the public vote?
Just because Simon and Louis only have one act left they should not be exempted from the vote - blatent manipulation again. Another Oftel enquiry I think !

  69. I agree with people complaining about rachel doing the gun gesture, when somebody done that in big brother she got in trouble and booted off.

  70. There are some very talented people on x factor this year.I don’t know how the winner will do in the real world of selling cd’s for record companies but good luck to them for having the bottle to actually get up there and give it a go !! Things are changing in the world of music and people just don’t have the cash to spend at the moment.I notice that Rhydian and same difference have albums coming out soon (last years finalists). I wish them well .Last years winner (leon) has already released his album and first single. Although they charted well , the sales are a bit slow. Unfortunately…simon cowell only has eyes for leona lewis when it comes to promotion and the others don’t get the same time and effort spent on them.I hope this years winner can come out of the shadow of Leona.

  73. Me and Louise are very upset tht laura was voted off and we would pay money to get her back on. Louise can’t stand diana and thought that no one should have gone when diana didn’t sing. At the moment we are both supporting Alex but wish we could be supporting Laura!!!

  74. How could they do this to Ruth?!?!?!? I wanted her to win. Fix!!Fix!!Farce!!Farce!!! it’s obvious that the judges decisions were made up at week one and that they have been manipulating the votes by song choice, who sings early, wears the best colours etc, etc., the sob stories, views of loving families all edited, timed and contrived to influence the vote. I only hope they haven’t chosen that sqeaky wheel Diana to win. Fingers crossed for Alexandra. Want a group? Ruth, Laura, Alexandra, Rachel, what a record they could make!
