Ray dropped by record label

Despite his debut album topping the charts, last year’s X Factor runner up Ray Quinn has been dropped by his record label Sony BMG.

His management company have put a positive spin on things, claiming that he’s in talks for his own TV show, and is also to be working in the West End. Watch this space - no doubt news of Ray’s panto appearances will be forthcoming shortly.

  1. Let’s hope that he doesn’t make a comeback. His style of singing and music is a throwback to the fifties.

  5. I dont know how he made it to the last 2 contestants last year.Yeah, he was attractive but so what he was outdated in style. If he was born maybe 30 years earlier then maybe he would of been ok.I cant stand that old swing music *yawn* Maybe older people could appreciate it but if your under 50 you wouldn’t like it unless you had the “HOTS” for him. lol

  6. He is okay. Not perfect but okay
He has charm like a young cliff richard. Cliff isnt a brilliant singer but a fantastic entertainer. Ray is the same. |Let him show his worth, and stop slating him as panto BOY

    Give him a chance

  7. I was so devastated to hear this. Ray is so amazing with so much talent, and it makes no sense that he was dropped after such a successful ablum.
I can’t believe it. I just hope some other record label gives him a contract. We need another fantastic album

  12. Although Leona was a worthy winner and the best singer last year….

Ray is the sort of lad I’d like my daughter to bring home.

We went to watch him at Birmingham at one of his concerts a few months ago and we were thoroughly, thoroughly entertained!

My wife and I are in our mid 40’s, so we won’t live to see whther this predicion comes true - but - I think Ray, just like the likes of Bruce Forsyth, will be entertaining the public way into his 70’s and maybe 80’s.

    Remember you read it here!
