I’m not qualified to vote as a judge, so I’ll leave that to the experts. I’ve a different problem though, the catfight going on between Louis and Simon. It may just be good TV, though if so they’re good actors. But Simon appears to dislike Louis and vice versa. No problem so far. But Simon also overtly and overly criticises Louis’ over 35s while defending his own groups. Louis catfights back, slaughtering Simon’s groups. This is not fair on the contestants.

Witness Same Difference. I’ll say again that I’m no expert but how on earth with a flat, out of sync performance can anyone (Simon) objectively say that Saturday was even decent. He said he could not see Niki as a recording artist yet he says they “nailed it” and “is beginning to like them”. Not believable.

But Simon lays it on thicker when Louis says he doesn’t like them, it seems just to dig back at Louis.

Please you two, keep it objective, keep it mature. And remember that these contestants are trying their hearts out and deserve your respect. The show is only partly about you two. Maybe you should be more like referees, impartial, than contestants.

omg rhydian waz amazin on sat! He is the best in the whole show this year and is a pertential winner! but saturday nites show waz pretti poor, they could have pickes some better swing songs, the acts were nothing compared 2 ray quinn last yer who waz totalli fantastic on tour! I hope the songs will improve this week.

I’ve gotta say Simon Cowell… I hope your enjoying your mid life crisis because you have just got rid of the only chance you had at winning the x factor… YOU FOOL! Hope are the biggest loads of crap… just because they have tits are slags and can do the splits does not mean they can sing… THEY REALLY CANNOT SING! Ah well, just make sure hope keep giving you a lap dance and dress like slags to stay in the competition… this programme deserves all the critics they have gained when stupid decisions like voting off the acts that actually can sing are allowed to happen! The claims the programme are fixed are looking ever more correct!
