Daniel: Louis Let Me Down

The latest contestant to be removed from the X Factor, Daniel de Bourg, has spoken out against his mentor Louis Walsh.

Daniel blamed Louis for forcing him to sing ‘Build me up Buttercup’, a song he says didn’t suit him at all, and led to his premature exit from the show.

“I was surprised, of course I was surprised,” Daniel said at a press conference. “I’m upset that I didn’t get to show the real me.”
“Louis knows what he’s talking about, he’s been in the game for a long time, but maybe he didn’t really understand me, the kind of performer I am.”
“I was doing my best in there with the song I was given, I tried to do it justice,”
he added. “But with a show like X Factor you have no say.”

Daniel had previously been the bookie’s favourite to win the show, but his removal leaves the two groups made up of ‘nearly good enough’ singers, Hope and Futureproof tipped as most likely to win.

  1. Think Daniel Was right..his clips from the auditions were different style of song that suited him much better. Sould have sung Cannonball, but sure if they wont let you choose what you feel suits you best then what can you do. His auditions were brill same thing as Kimberly really thought the auditions were great and their mentors song choices for the live shows sunk them!
