After being the first contestant to leave the final rounds of the X Factor 2007 competition, 19 year old Kimberley Southwick said that what hurt her most was the behaviour of her mentor, Sharon Osbourne.
“She really threw a strop, didn’t she? I would have liked her to be holding my hand longer. I was really shocked by her exit from the show. I just think she took it very personally, really.” said Kimberley.
Despite her performance being described by Simon Cowell as ‘karaoke on a big budget’, Kimberley has no regrets about her song choice.
“They gave me such a fun single. If they had given me a belter, I could have held it better but it just wouldn’t have been me.”
And who does Kimberley want to win this series of the X Factor now that she’s out the competition?
“I think Nikki will win – and I hope she does. She doesn’t live too far away from me either, so that will be good. She’s great and she’s got a lot more to show.”

I was really gutted at kimberely being voted out she was very good to watch and had a brilliant voice
