Dannii’s Pick of the Boys

Dannii Minogue had the difficult task of selecting the three lads to represent the 14-24 boys category in the live X Factor finals.

  4. is danni deaf or what? yet further proof if any was needed that its not about talent but just about controversy to get ratings. It was obvious that Dominic was far and away the best singer. I for one will be refusing to watch any more

  6. Who is Dannii???? she has made a boo boo. Dominic should have been chosen to sing for the live shows. I for one will not be watching this year now. Rhydian should never of been picked. Dannii has made too many mistakes already.
    Louis to win, and Sharon to come a close 2nd.
    Why on earth did Simon put the duet on, (not a group its a duet)Ghostt sounded good.

  9. i think she made the right choices bar rhiddian, she should have let don stay instead. theres no denying rhiddian is ok but the arrogance, i took an instant dislike to him and i think most did. he will be out in the 1st week i reckon.

  10. i am digusted with dannii’s decision!
    dominic deserved to go through but oh no dannii had to choose rhiddian and he is so arrogant! i think some of the judges this year have made mistakes, ghost should have gone through to. i think x factor is going to lose alot viewers… and dominic nor ghost should give up.x

  11. Danni made a complete hash of her selections by not choosing Dominic as a finalist. He was by far the best of all the auditions this year and heading to the winning post without peer.

  12. Have you ever thought that perhaps he may not have been ready? We do not know what goes on beind the scenes. His confidence may have really low as he was very young and may not have been able to handle it, personally it was a mistake to lower the age to 14 as peoples voices change as they get older, i mean look at britney, justin and christina and how much their voices have changed since the mickey mouse club. We do not know anything about the music buisiness, and it is totally unfair to judge her as she would have thought it through. Walk a mile in her shoes thats all i say

I think if I walked a mile in her shoes my feet would be killing me…but I agree get rid of Rhydian (pardon the pun) complete nonce and crap singer…if he was chocolate he would eat himself….can’t stand that whole musical theatre thing…and he wants to sing for the queen and perform to millions….eh…Rhydian….are you on glue???!!!

  14. Danni really messed up picking that awful Rhydian over Dominic. I don’t see anyone voting for him. Hopefully he’ll go out in the first week. Louis was the only one to get it right with his selections.

I have missed all of this years show, and just looked at some clips tonight, I think it was a selection of the last 6 boys and I truly thought Dominic was by far and away the most talented and genuinely easy and great to watch ALL the others made me cringe slightly. So I am really surprised that he has been booted off. In reply to Ross Hyland – this is a reality show – we are meant to see ALL that goes on, so essentially behind the scenes doesn’t exist. The outcry is merited as at face value Dominic was by far the best and his ommission from the finals is tantamount to unfair dismissal.

  22. Well, some people are obviously voting for Rhydian – and so they should! He’s got a great voice and is a bit different – I didn’t take to him at first but have warmed to him as the show went on. Don’t be too sure he will go out -remember Britain’s Got Talent was won by an opera singer!

    HE DOES HAVE A GOOD VOICE BUT HIS EX GIRLFRIEND IS IN THE PAPER SAYING THAT HE IS USING HIS SON TO GET PUBLICITY AND THAT HE ONLY CAME INTO HIS SONS LIFE A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO. :(

  24. I can’t believe what I’m reading! How wrong can you lot be!! Rhydian has raw talent!! Last year it was obvious that Leona would win. She stood out a mile! The same with Rhydian! People hate him because they THINK he is arrogant! How wrong can you be!! He is just a very confident singer and what a showman!! I agree that Domonic should have been put through. The other two lads in Danni’s group are very weak. No projection!! I personally think Rhydian and Nikkie will be in the final. They SHINE above the rest!

    Well let me say, you for one have absolutely NO TASTE IN MUSIC WHATSOEVER.
    Rhydian is not arrogant, he is trying to express that now, and there is no denying he is very talented and skillful at what he does. I for one LOVED phantom of the opera and meatloaf, not to mention Get this Party Started.
    HE IS EXCELLENT!

    So is Leon, Leon is one of the best. Rhyd or Leon to win, DEFINITELY!!!

    Still he wont have a long career. He wont even get what Paul Potts got- a personal interview reuest from Oprah Winfrey AND a number 1 Album in 13 COUNTRIES!

  33. it is a disgrace that Leon won over Rhydian! The X-factor is supposed to represent the countries BEST, and Leon is deffinately NOT that. Rydian was arrogant to begin with, but look around at most pop stars they are all so much worse, but we don’t question their talent!! His singing ability was in the league completely beyond that of Leon’s, and it just shows that nothing should be left to the publics vote… disappointed and i am now just waiting for when Leon fizzles out to nothingness, and Rhydian gets the attention he deserves!!!!!
