When X Factor auditionee Jacqui Gray went up in front of the X Factor judges to sing , she didn’t quite get the response she had hoped for. After singing “Something Inside So Strong” the judges responded by telling her that she sounded like she was “choking”, “raspy”, and “odd sounding”. Simon even went as far as to say: “Something happens to your voice when you sing. It sounds like you have someone else in there, like you are choking on something.”
Judge Sharon Osbourne urged Jacqui to go and get it checked out, and after a quick trip to the doctors and a consultant, a hospital scan revealed a serious lung condition which was in need of immediate treatment.
Jacqui said: “I want to thank Simon and Sharon. I may not have got through the ‘X Factor’ but they both gave me something much more important than that. They really did save my life. I have been singing since I was a kid but no-one had ever pointed out a problem to me before.
I can not beleeive you let go Gavin in the over 25 s because to me he had a great voice. I would have liked to seen more off him in future shows, i am that disappionted. It has now put me off the show

Simon i normal agree with you, but you do get it wrong from time to time. Please let it be this time and call him back, that is Gavin from the over 25s. Iwill buy his music it gives us all hope. Please can me and my friend Susan Clamp appeal to your better judgement.

Judges what are you doing not taking Gavin from the over 25s through, it was bad television as you portrayed him as being very very good. This seems to me as a bad media advertisment. You do not look that proffesional as you like to portray yourselfs, you really don t know what the public want

I love the X-Factor, i cry when theres a sad bit i laugh and sometimes cannot look when the contestants are so bad.A funny moment id like to share with you a guy knocked on our door the other day saying im looking for contestants for the x-factor can anyone here sing i was like no mate were all tone deaf here, he was in the end not really from the x-factor but a bt phone installtion seller, how funny is that XD.Keep up the good work its brilliant. Sharon btw your my fav you make me laugh so much p.s your family rocks!
