Last Open Audition for X Factor 2007 - Sat 9th June

Your last chance to audition for X Factor 2007 will be this Saturday 9th June at Emirates football stadium, London, from 8am onwards. This will be your last chance ever and there are only around 14,000 places in the stadium (including everyones friends and family). The open audition will be based on a first come, first seen basis.

General information from X Factor about the open audition is as follows:

* The auditions queue will start at the South Ramp. Please follow the signs to join the audition queue. If you are coming as part of a group please look for the group signs as there will be two separate queues.
* There will be food and drink available to buy at the stadium, but please be aware that this is a long day so make sure you prepare accordingly. No alcohol or glass is permitted.
* Queuing will be outside so please check local forecasts before you come on the day. Prepare for rain or sunshine – sun cream, hats and umbrellas are a must!
* A large turnout is expected so prepare for a long day. Please be patient – they will see you as quickly as they can!
* On the day you will be given a unique ID sticker & wristband. It is ESSENTIAL that you look after these – you will not be able to audition without it and you will not be given a replacement.
* Please prepare a verse and chorus, and have a second song prepared in case.
* Contestants under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult, otherwise they will not be allowed into the stadium.
* If you wish to bring friends and family with you for support, please limit this to two people only.
* To audition you must have been born on or before the 1st of April 1993.
* All contestants are required to bring photographic ID (passports/picture driving license)
* There is NO vehicle parking up to 1.5 miles around the stadium and taking public transport is the easiest way to get to the and from Stadium. Finsbury Park, Highbury & Islington and Arsenal Underground Stations are the most convenient stations to use.

GOOD LUCK to everyone!

  2. Hey everyone…I’m planning to go to the open audition in London on saturday.I wish everyone the very best, but hope too that any people auditioning will just take one friend/family member for support-as for each person admitted whos not singing there’s one less space for someone who really wants to give it a go (just food for thought).Good Luck…see you there!

  3. I saw the two Drag Queens yesterday, and I thought they were fabulous. Really funny and definitely livened up the atmosphere. I hope they get through to boot camp, or at the very lease get shown on TV, as I would love to see what they did to the celebrity judges.

  16. What an absolute shambles. The organiser should be nailed in the middle of the Arsenal pitch. What was the point of giving out coloured wristbands when everyone just pushed the barriers aside when were eventually let in. We arrived about 4.30am and were given green bands. When we finally sat down in the stadium (at around 2pm) the guys next to me had arrived 5 hours after us and had the dreaded blue bands. I was pleased to hear the booing during the “warmup” and will watch the first mins og the first show to see the editing. I won’t watch again.

  23. Hi liverpool girl, yeah, the Birmingham callbacks are on the 18th & 19th of July, the time for the 18th callbacks are at 1.00pm, (well that’s the time I’ve been given) and the callback times for the 19th is @ 12.00pm (thats the time that my friend has been given.) Although, I’m not sure that you’re allowed to go back for the 2nd audition if you haven’t got ur red form… Don’t take what I say as gospel tho, I’m sure that if u explain 2 the producers what happened 2 ur red form, give them ur name and audition i.d number, they’ll be able to find u on their lists. As well as my callback on the 18th, I’ll be up there on the 19th too, supporting my friends who are auditioning… Good luck with ur audition! And I might c ya up there! cazzie xx
