MacDonald Brothers In Talks With Louis To See What The Future Holds

Brian from The MacDonald Brothers said today: “Louis is going to speak to us in the week, then we will have a better idea of what the future holds. We still don’t know if we will be offered a management deal with him but we know, if not, he’ll still point us in the right direction.”

“He’s become a great friend and we hope we can continue to work with him. We hope the public has time for us and that we can have a career. This is just the beginning. I don’t have a clue what the future holds but we will work hard and try our best to live up to people’s expectations.”

“For a first single, we would need something famous, that represented us as people.
We don’t know if we have that option yet but Louis will hopefully have some good news.”

  2. this post aint about anyone in particular but has anyone else bought the x factor revealed dvd? i have and i am majorly dissapointed. the dvd claims to have “never seen before footage” and its a lie. there was nothing on that dvd that i hadnt seen, either on itv1 or itv2. so if anyone is thinking about buying it please dont bother you will be wasting your money!!!

  4. The X factor is about making money not finding talent. If they do its an added bonus. Why are you supprised the DVD contains mainly old material. I am sure there will be the odd bit of never seen before fottage just to make it legal

  7. The Macs are what the X-Factor is all about - or should be. What it isn’t about is award-winning actors like Ray. I think Ray’s great, but come on, he’s already had a career as an actor, and he won a best newcomer award. The same goes for Kerry, who had already had a (failed) career as a singer. Give the Macs a chance Louis. They’re good looking lads who are keen to learn. I was amazed to read that they both play several musical instruments. Why did we never see them play on stage, like we did with Ben?

  15. We were visiting in England when the MacDonald Brothers were on X Factor. We love their music and now found it on Youtube. Please do whatever you can to bring their music to the United States. Their music is so lively and you can’t help tapping your toes. 500 Miles is awesome. They were one of our great memories of England.
