Robert commented before his performance: “Been in the bottom two last week really did my confidence. I used to work in the hospital and going back was bitter sweet cuz its not where I want to be. I want to honour my family with he song I sing tonight. It means a lot to my heart. It really means a lot to me, it means love cuz all I have in my heart is love. I’m gonna get up there and show people what real love is all about.”
All three judges were blown away by his performance and said:
Simon: “Robert, I want to just leave your story aside and judge you as a singer. That was your best vocal by a mile. Robert you have put yourself back in the race after that young man.”
Louis: “I’m really glad I saved you you, you have a lot of soul. Well done.”
Sharon: “You gave me goose bumps, all my hair was standing up on end. You nailed it.”
Robert: “I’m glad I got to show off what I can do. I had to deal with my emotions tonight.”
Woah! That note that Robert held for ages in his performance was AMAZIN! I have a new found respect for him now. Robert could well be the dark horse in this competition after that performance but he now has a lot to live up to in that he has to perform as good or better every week from now.

Robert is a sweet, lovely guy who finally clicked with the right song. He thoroughly deserved to stay in this week. This idea of making people sing the wrong sort of music for their voices makes for amusing viewing, but it’s really hard on the acts, especially if they get booted off before they get to a themne week that suits them personally.

Robert is far the best. He is absolutely fantanstic.I am so moved with his talent I make a conscious effort to watch the X Factor every week both just to listen to him. Robert deserves to win – keep it up Rob. X

I am so glad that Robert chose to sing a ballard. I knew that he had beauty in his voice as well as having an excellent rich Baritone voice. He has a wonderful talent and I feel there are even better surprises from him.,,,,smashing fantastic……wonderful

i meet robert whlst a patient in Hospital, we became friends his personnality on tv is as just as it is in real life. His a great singer, and watch te x factor just for him.. Well if anyone knows him pas sthis on to him. I lost his mobile number. Its Jamess the Marine hell know hwo i am. Go ROBERT!!

i think robert is the best of the bunch.he did justice on saturday with the luther vandross number.he is the most versatile of the bunch.i do not know how he has ended up in the bottom 2 twice and acts like eton rd and mcdonald bros are still in the competition.he has got soo much soul, soo much passion, soo much personality…..we need some more soul acts in the uk.hopefully people will keep voting.robert is my fav 2 win

i really can’t believe it… the REAL talent is gone!
i have to say, now that robert is gone, there is no point watching this show anymore (apart from seeing if ben – the ‘no voice but cocky’, leona – the ‘high pitch drill your brain diva, or the ‘bro’s’ can win!)
Really, REALLY Disappointed that Robert is out!
