Eton Road Perform A Beatles Number And Are Through To The Final Six

Eton Road X FactorEton Road said before their performance: “We looked out at the stage last week and it was brilliant to see everyone clapping along with us. It’s amazing to get good comments from the judges. We are feeling the pressure and we just hope we go out there and do the song justice.”

Simon: “What was that bit in the middle? I didn’t get it. It was a ridiculous choice of song and it looked like Louis had sent you back to boy band school in 1986. The routine was lazy, there was no real attempt to share the vocals, the choreography was fifteen years out of date, the track sounded dated. You can’t do a Beatles song justice. The bit in middle was just weird. Really good last week but completely and utterly average this week, sorry you are better than that.”

Sharon: “Well my darlings, as usual, I thought you were amazing, I love you, you can do no wrong for me. However, the choreography was dated but that is not your fault. You made your song your own and I liked it. It was so cute to hear you singing in that nice high voice. I like you very much.”

Louis: “I agree, boys you did a great, great job. I think Simon is a little bit jealous because you are trying something different unlike some of his acts who play it so safe each week, it would have been easy to just copy The Beatles Anthony you’ve got an amazing vocal range and you showed it off tonight. I know the public love you guys and I don’t care what he (Simon) says.”

Eton Road said “No one can do a song like The Beatles does one, but what we tried to do tonight was make it Eton Roads, and Anthony had his little part.

Anthony from Eton Road said: “I totally respect Simon. We’ve had a hard week this week, I’ve had a chest infection for the last four days and I’m not using that as an excuse cuz I don’t want pity but I didn’t even tell my family about it because I knew it would upset my Nan.”

  1. They are a real band not some manufactured Simon Cowell one-hit wonders.

    I reckon he is jealous.

Eton Road will win X Factor if the judges put aside their politics and stop squabbling.

  2. Sinon Cowell is the one who is getting boring.

    He is past his sell-be-date.

  3. Like these, however, don’t think a beetles song was good for them. Cannot believe the macdonalds have got through AGAIN!!

  4. Eton Road! – every week I pray they’re gonna get chucked off the show! I can’t stand them. I will never buy an Eton Road song – I just don’t get it – they’re totally crap – they’re not even amusing in a bad way. I wish they had got voted off this week (cry!!!) Oh well, there’s always next week – better get the voodoo dolls out (…wonders where to stick the pins…)

  5. Obviously a Simon Cowell fan, lol. The first comments were right, there’s far too much rivalries on the show.

Eton Road are fab. Hope they win, and get the Christmas number one.

Oh, and when will someone vote the MacDonald Brothers off???

    They suck

  6. Boys can never understand the appeal of boy bands, which is a shame, my boyfriend included…

    Eton Road are angels…

They have sweet voices, and like they were the first to admit, it’s not easy, trying to sing songs by a group as legendary as the Beatles.

If only they were allowed to sing their own stuff on a talent contest, not other people’s tunes.

  7. Eton Row are weak, vocally. They only get by on their image. Hopefully they will be out sooner, than later.

  9. At first I hated Eton Road but now I love them and I am a middle aged woman. How about a song like Sugar Baby Love for them – would suit Anthony or one of Frankie Vali and The Four Seasons would compliments the group. I love Anthony and I think he has taken so much stick and stays calm.

  10. It’s a shame Simon’s spat with Louis ends up with him picking holes in nevery single risk taken by rival acts.

  14. i like eton road but i must say that performance on saturday was awful and out of tune. they can do way better, i actually thought that rubbish performance had cost them the votes but looks like there are more teenage girls with credit on their phones out there than i thought
