Simon: “Guys, I like you, we’ve chatted back stage, the problem is you cannot in a billion years win this competition. It was a mediocre, very Scottish version of “Fernando” with the worst guitar solo I have ever heard in my life.”
Louis: “You know nothing about guitar solos Simon. We don’t care what you think Simon and Scotland is going to vote for them.”
MacDonald Brothers said “We are never going to stop trying. We disagree entirely with Simon.”
I hope they make it a few more weeks
I prefer them then Ray, Robert and some of the other contestants:)

Simon and Sharon should change the record, give the guys a break, it takes guts to get up there week after week after taking a pounding from the judges….. I think they are doing a great job and Louis should really stop looking so surprised when it is announced that they got through, he should be celebrating… Keep up the good work guys, I think you are fantastic, and by the way the voting is going so do a lot of other people,(the whole of scotland if some people were to be believed lol) GO MACDONALD BROS!!!

I’ve heard these guys before they were where they are now and i say they’re fab!! At the end of the day the competition is big i hope the bros go all the way nevertheless their lives will be changed from the usual humdrum south ayrshire lives. Get it battered into them guys

they were the only ones in tune all the way through the song, as said by brenda on this morning and me after i played the tape back and watched them all again. simon is just a moron, a sexy moron but a moron nonetheless.

they are utterly useless! people are defending the indefensible, and the guitar solo was indeed the worst in all history. they should be glad to have got so far and retire from music forever with some respect!

All those who left a relevant comment, I agree.
The MacDonald Brothers are really talented, not to mention brave, especially when they’re both under 21.
Also, the themes are sh*t. =p
It might actually be better in the long run if they didn’t win – the winners singles are a worse punishment than having 2people dislike you.

Some of the comments on here are a bit harsh aren’t they? I know your just voicing your opinion, but… you know.
Personally I like the Mcdonald brothers and I know quite alot of people who do too. The guitar solo was great and so was the performance. They were the only act to sing in tune on saturday.

HOW HOW HOW HOW ARE THE MCDOOGLE KARAOKE STILL IN THE COMPETITION!! They are ‘ok’ and I use that term in the lightest sense…. Where is the talent? Do people need to clean their ears out? Week after week the most talented contestents (who can actually sing and have some charimsa) are voted out – its shocking! I would bet money on Simon NOT returning or endorsing another series of X-Factor if Mcdoogles win – the point of the competition would be lost!

The macdonalds are the only ones to siong out of tune more like. I myself am Scottish, but i couldnt care less. It’ll tragic if they get that £1 000 000 . Though, they do unintentionally make the show exiting when they get through yet another round. ARGH THEY CANNOT SING!!!

They are what make the show exiting. I mean that in the way they’re so rubbish and its so annoying when TALENTED PEOPLE get kicked out the competition. I am scottish, and i dont care if they are too. I honestly wish there was a Cameron in the competition.
