Ben commented before his performance: “The comments I have had off the judges so far are out of this world. I am terrified of singing Abba. I have put in so much practice this week, you have no idea. I just hope that it isn’t a complete disaster.” Judges comments were as follows:
Louis: “Ben, it wasn’t a shambles. I know its not your type of thing but you pulled it off. You are a very talented singer. The arrangement was your own. You are safe”
Simon: “Very ironic that the song was called S.O.S. I hated it. It fell into a soft rock area, hated the arrangement. 1980′s meat loaf arrangement. Big fan of yours but thought it was a bit desperate.”
Sharon; ” A bit off key in the beginning but you pulled it off, you made it your own and next week Simon just wants to say ‘I’ve still got four.’”
Hey Ben, I come from Kent and we are all rooting for you! You have a distinctive voice, a georgous stage presense and you can sing! Invicta FM say BELT IT OUT BEN and you are doing us proud. You DO have the X Factor! Keep it up xxx

Well done to Ben for surviving A**A week.
All power to him. Here’s hoping that the coming weeks will allow him to perform songs that suit his strengths and musicality. He’s the best of the bunch: a singer who delivers with heart and balls…
