Dionne and her family have spoken out about their feelings towards the way Simon 
Cowell criticised her on the show. Dionne polled the lowest number of X Factor votes and was eliminated from the show after she was told by Cowell that she had “the grace of a boxer” and that she “couldn’t win the show in a million years.”
At a recent press conference, Dionne said: “I felt that Simon’s comments were a personal attack against me. I have always held Simon Cowell in great esteem. But last night shattered every illusion that I had of him.”
She added: “I didn’t come on this show to be a backing singer.”
Dionne’s brother, Wayne, 43, also commented, saying: “Dionne was bullied as a teenager and Cowell’s brazen bully tactics were a systematic put-down that won’t help her confidence one bit. He needs to know he can’t get away with shouting his mouth off.”
Get over it Dionne! You desperately wanted to go through to the final 12 and you did. Simon’s comments were no worse than many others he has given on previous contestants and you know what the show is all about. If you can’t stand the heat…………… and PLRASE - who is interested in the comments of your family?? Bound to be biased. What an undignified loser. The public voted you out - not Simon or his comments!!

I think it’s terrible Dionne has gone and agree that Simon was OTT in his criticism of her - and far harder than he was on some of the other dross left in. Dionne’s voice was (with Leona’s) the strongest and most beautiful in the competition. What a shame. Hope she manages to salvage something and keep going.

Dionne, you are absolutely amazing, you are possibly the greatest singer i have ever heard. Don’t listen to Simon Cowell, my family and i think that you are amazing. Even massive stars like Tony Bennet and Lionel Richey said you were “amazing”. Keep going and I hope to see you at number 1 in the near future, I’ll be the first one to buy your album, love you darling xxx……..p.s don’t take in a word of that idiot ‘fattie’ or whatever her name is (hattie) she knows nothing, I mean who is she?

Dion The songs you were given did not do you justice.
You have a very strong voice and I felt it was too strong for the songs given you.
Please don’t be offended, ‘cos I did think that there was a Shirley Bassey in your voice and you cannot get better than that as a comparison. Shirly has a great strong voice and really belts our her music to everyones delight.
I think too that classic opera might also be better for you. Because there is such strength in your vocals. Here is wishing you a wonderful future in music. Remember it is a gift and you must use it to delight the souls of others. That is why He gave the gift to you gal!!!
