The Unconventionals first to leave X Factor 2006

The Unconventionals X FactorAfter an uninspiring performance of ‘Dancing in the Street’, The Unconventionals were the first to leave The X Factor 2006.

“At home I don’t think they are going to like it – Louis, I think you got the wrong song” was Simon’s reaction to their performance. Sharon said “It was all a bit too much – I got quite confused, but you are good at what you do, and great performers, but the Motown theme didn’t suit you”.
Louis tried to defend his act, saying “You did me proud, I’m glad I took a risk”.

Dionne Mitchell joined The Unconventionals in the bottom two sing-off before being saved by Simon Cowell, who told The Unconventionals “you were diabolical tonight”.

The Unconventionals had worries even before their performance, saying “We worry whether the public will take to us, or go ‘What is that?!’”.

  5. No wonder they voted you off,6 wages got rid of instead of one!Plus after having read in the paper of the disharmony in the house between the younger people and the “older” members, of course you were always going to walk.Yes it was a shame that you didn’t stick to your usual style of singing, but for goodness sake this is a talent contest ,not a song contest, surely the judges can see that and not just make their decision on one perfomance. And being a talent contest, are they so thick that they can’t spot REAL talent!
I would also like to know why you weren’t given the TV exposure before getting into the finals,we hardly know you ,human nature is to give people you know(and feel sorry for) the vote.
Well perhaps you should have had a few more sob stories etc and you might have won!
Don’t give up guys,Talent will out!
