Despite rumours that Shayne Ward would not be appearing at the X Factor 2006 Tour due to suffering with throat problems, it would seem that there is no need to worry.
Shayne said “I have been to a specialist and they have told me that singers often suffer from this problem but that it’s nothing to worry about and I need to rest my voice for a week or so.”

He also went on to declare that stories about him not wanting to do The X Factor 2006 tour were “total nonsense” and that he is “itching to get on stage and perform live.”

The X Factor 2006 Tour is due to start on February 16th.
