21 year old Shayne from Clayton, Manchester, today said thanks to all his fans for the support that they have given him, which has enabled him to become the winner of The X Factor and clinch the 1 million pound recording contract and hopefully the number one single spot for Christmas.
He told the Manchester Evening News “I’d like to thank everyone in Manchester and the readers and staff of the Manchester Evening News for their huge support and for voting for me. It means so much to me to have won The X-Factor - I just can’t explain how happy you have all made me. I’m so thrilled with the way the people of Manchester have backed me. It was such a close vote and it’s down to you all that I won - thank you, thank you all so much.”

I just want 2 say Shayne is so so so sexy! Uffff! He’z just too gd 2 be true! He’z absolutely stunnin’ and has an amazin’ voice! He’z gonna be a big big star I reckon he’ll be bigger than Robbie Williams! Shayne’s got so many fans out there and he’ll do so well! I wish him all the best of luck and I think it’s really sweet wot he’z doin’ 4 his mum buyin her a house and takin’ her a holiday. He is one of the nicest guys you could ever meet and his mum is really lucky 2 have him as a son! I’m also really jelous of his girlfriend.. she is one lucky lucky lady 2 have him bcoz there is so many girls out there that fancy him! God he won’t know wot has hut him when he realises actually how many girls are attracted to him!
