Simon Cowell admitted that for a few weeks he had thought that there was no way The Conways could win the competition, and on last Saturday’s Xtra Factor, he used this as his reason to explain why he chose to keep Chico Slimani in the competition rather than his own act The Conway Sisters.
Speaking about their X Factor experience, 22 year old Marie Conway said “He didn’t really know what to do with us as a band. He was completely lost. It was a relief to him that we decided to choose our own songs. Obviously, we’re a bit upset, but we felt it was our week to go. We’ve been in the bottom two for the past few weeks and we weren’t getting a huge amount of support from our mentor.”
Sinéad Conway said that there would be no hard feelings towards Simon Cowell, insisting that they still had a lot of respect for him and that Simon had said “Girls, we’ll speak next week and I do have some plans for you.”

Well i really like the conway sisters, and how can they have bad attitudes? thats right because they DONT! they are down to earth, and really fun girls! i think its about peps follow others! sad really!

I didn’t like these at all - lead singer very much on the defensive - and the blondy one… Simon did the right thing and was glad they were kicked off! People’s other comments that they need to lose the attitude - absolutely agree..
