«The Conways were convinced they would be out tonight but surprisingly, Nicholas was voted out of the X Factor, the deciding vote being cast by Sharon Osbourne.
When questioned by Kate Thornton about her deciding vote, Sharon would not give a specific answer as to why she chose Nicholas over The Conways. The Conways were absolutely gobsmacked that they managed to survive another week after the slating they received in the press and by the X Factor/Maria fans this last week.
Sharon later said that Nicholas was “out of tune and for the last three weeks he has been out of tune and the girls performance was more emotional” and this was her reason for voting out Nicholas.
Over the past few weeks, Nicholas has constantly been critisized by the judges for singing flat, and as lovely as he is, his performance did not improve much tonight, so unfortunately, his fans have to bid him farewell.
Nicholas has said that he is not upset or angry about Sharon’s decision and he has vowed not to give up singing. He has also said that he will be backing Jouney South and Andy Abraham to get to the X Factor Final.
Well done Sharon, that was the right decision. You’ll get a lot of respect for that I think.
Nicholas can sing well (Marvin Gaye) but he just hasn’t been.
And the Conways were very good tonight. I just hate how people hate them, because i think they’re very good! Also I hate being critical! (But i do like ethem a lot)

I think Sharon did it to show that she didn’t have anything against the Conway sisters.
Anyway, Nicholas is so boring I’m quite glad he’s gone. Would’ve preferred the Conways to go though… probably because I’m still bitter about last Saturday night. Nicholas was just getting worse & worse so… it’s good that he’s gone before he can get any more boring.

Nicolas was truely AWFUL tonight and deserved to go…he was so flat. Fair play 2 the conways (wished they hadn’t cried though!) Simon is the only judge I trust on that show…he always tells the truth, even about his own groups and he always votes based on true talent. GO SIMON, LOVES YA! xx

I am glad Nicholas went. Sharon made the right descision BIG TIME! The Conway Sisters are certainly not my favourite act BUT I think this was their 2nd best performance tonight (week 2 being their best). I was actually pleasantly surprised with them tonight, I knew what they were going to sing and Whitney is a hard gal to cover but ‘One Moment In Time’ really needs a solo act and a mega powerful voice. I thought The Conway Sisters were doomed tonight because of song choice and last week, but u know what, they actually pulled it off and I enjoyed a performance from them for the 1st time in ages. Nicholas however has just been bland week in week out and was my least favourite out of the final 7! But now 7 become 6, what next? I would like The Conway Sisters to go next week, but I really think it will be Chico, bless im.
As for the Blonde girl outta The Conways (Laura) blubbing b4 they even sang again, well I felt for the poor lass and I was moved actually when they sang again. They wanted to stay badly & I’m glad they did …… so til next week it’s ta ra, ta ra chuck!

Nicolas would be fantastic had simon taken care of him. louie walsh, what are u doin? u gave him a song sang by a duet of a boyband and a woman so how was he meant to make it sound right? he can sing ‘u make me feel brand new’ better than shane, with more soul. shane is a ballad singer. good, but not nicolas.
