The audience have voted, and who would have guessed that Maria and The Conways would be in the bottom two? According to the judges, each contestant is only as good as their last performance and if their actual song choice on the night doesn’t appeal to the voting audiences, then it’s time to pack your bags.
The final decision was left to Louis, with Sharon voting for her act, Maria, to stay and Simon voting for his act, The Conways, to stay. The final decision rested on Louis’ shoulders as he was forced to decide between The Conways and Maria. He admitted that this was his most difficult decision so far, but had to keep the Conways on the show and said that it was a decision from the heart. Sharon could hardly contain her disappointment at losing Maria and accused Louis of voting with his passport, and choosing The Conways to stay just because they were Irish. Hmmm, not so long ago that Sharon chose Chenai to stay over 4Tune, for the sole reason that Chenai was a girl and that she had history with her! Not so sure that decision was based on talent Sharon!
Maria again admitted that she “had reservations” about her song choice and Sharon held up her hands and said that the song choice had let Maria down and put her into the bottom two, but that this wasn’t the end for Maria. The upside is that Maria will now be able to go on her long-awaited honeymoon which she had put on hold whilst being on The X Factor.
Tonight was a total disaster,The conways should have been sent home.Simon and louis both made the wrong decision,you can understand simon to a point but everybody knows Maria’s talent far outways The Conway Sisters.
SHARON WAS RIGHT LOUIS VOTED WITH HIS PASSPORT.
The Conways will now be very unpopular!!!!!!!!

Everyone thought maria was good, but she was soooooooooo slow when singing that michael jackson song, the way you make me feel, that i never saw her in the same light again. she sung the songs she had too slow and didnt have any omph!

Conway sisters are so0o0o0o going out next week! I hate them so much truthfully I have to say I’m a Chico fan and I would love for him to win! But I wanted the finl three to be Chico Maria and Brenda! Maria was the BEST singer on the X factor as well as Brenda followed by Chico who makes the whole world smile! Louis is a racist b****rd and I am very dissapointed with him for going with his “heart” I will assure you that no one from anywhere apart from Ireland will be voting for Conway Sisters! Very surprised to see Maria in the bottom two, i thoughtChico, Nicholas or Conways ( i personally liked their performance, but i knew others wouldnt) I thought for a second Simon might sacrifice the conways, because i think he is the only one who would do that, but maybe not.

I heard that The Conways got booed whilst they were being interviewed after Maria was voted off. The Conways are seriously gonna have to pull it out of the bag next week if they wanna stand the slightest chance of staying. Louis Walsh is a racist. It’s that simple.
He voted against Maria because the Conway Sisters are Irish.
So Maria went out of the show because she wasn’t Irish.
If he’d have voted her off the show because she wasn’t white he would be booted off television – and tho be honest I don’t see what the difference is.
If you choose a less talented person for a job over a more talented person based on their race the that’s illegal in the UK. It’s called racial discrimination.
What Louis did tonight was racial discrimination and he should go to jail.

Actually, I think it’s more to do with the fact that Sharon hasn’t lost an act in the competition yet, and both Louis and Simon have lost two each so far. They are starting to lose face and let the boys side down.
I think that if the decision was between one of Sharons acts and another to go, then both Simon and Louis would have voted for Sharon’s act to go because Louis and Simon do not want the competition to be all about Sharons acts and for the final four to be all Sharons acts!

lets not get on our high horse. i wouldnt say louis is racist but i would say he’s a fool. i knew he would pick the Conways and keep recalling him say “you’re good irish girls,” several times on past shows. (mind u , he did say the same about the irish guy who left two weeks ago but he was complete shyte)!!
bottom line is maria’s out, sharon’s fuming and simon must be kicking himself! he not only wants to get his leg over with maria, but he blatently knew maria was better than the conway’s.
I’m really annoyed that she’s gone but hopefully she’ll get a deal out of this.

Absolutely gutted that Maria went out tonight. Still we’ll get our own back won’t we – after all Maria is going on to bigger and better things and no doubt we’ll be buying her records – not the Conway Sisters! As for so called ‘Judges’ – well it was a joke! It shows that they are simply not fulfilling their roles – and let the best one get away. Without Maria the show won’t be the same. She was in the last two because everyone thought she was the best and didn’t need the votes!!

Tonight is the last time I will watch the show. It is about finding an artist that may have the X Factor and as I musician myself I think at age 47 I can spot talent when I see it. Such a talent is Maria.
She will still go a long way in this industry and I would guess that either Sharon or Simon are already as we speak fighting to get her to sign on the dotted line to get a Xmas number 1. Seriously she is, or should I say was the only act on this show that had a chance of success outside of the UK and mark my words she will still go far with or without the X Factor. I would hazard a guess that she will be snapped up with a great recording contract and if she can get out of the X Factor tour she will, as she will be bigger than that by then.
I do not think that Simon said that Shayne, according to Rachel, “could be the biggest male solo artist in the world in a few years.” I am sure he said this country, which maybe so, but again with a two year shelf life, if he is lucky, and again talent less in that he will be singing songs produced for him by others and it will be teenage girls high on puberty screaming their lungs out as he goes through the motions. He is not that great. Good but certainly not destined to be a great.
Louis Walsh is pathetic. He is a pariah who has made a fortune on the talents of others but as for spotting talent, writing songs himself, caring about the people who he sucks dry forget it; it is all about Louis Walsh and he is bigoted; he is a loser; he is a scumbag; he is pathetic; he is Irish and so are the Conway sisters and that is the only reason they got his vote and it was dead wrong, so completely wrong for the show and now I have lost interest as I see it is not about finding a true star just about the ego trips of the judges.
The fact that he is Irish is the only reason on earth he could have had in possibly voting for The Conway’s. The Conway’s are a 4 piece Irish Folk come bar band whose future is cabaret and pantomime and maybe a cruise; that’s as good as it gets. The fact that they are the weakest of all the acts goes to show what little the British Public know about talent. They should have gone out on the first show to get it over with and maybe Louis Walsh was just a little frightened of 4Tune in that he saw them as a threat to his pathetic bunch of boy band singers that he “owns.”
You cannot imagine what a rare talent for the UK Maria is. The likes of The Conway’s can be seen up and down the UK in the summer at various Butlin camps. They are nothing special whatsoever and how the hell they don’t make the bottom 2 each week is beyond me.
I would say again as a Musician good luck also to Journey South as in regards to individual talent and having paid their due they are due some reward and have the talent to do so. If they don’t do it now, with all the publicity from the X Factor, they never will, and that goes for all the acts we see.
Somebody said about Louis Walsh and racism and I guess I would have to agree. He voted for The Conway’s because they are Irish, plain and simple. Sharon was wrong earlier in the show for voting for Chenai who was never going to win in a month of Sundays and we will never hear from her again, so Sharon crying fowl tonight was a bit rich from the crazy Osborne but she was right to say what she said but also she should have the bottle to stand up and say the show is a joke and walk away from it now.
The look on Simons face was priceless when he “had to” vote for The Conway’s above Maria. It read, “Oh Christ I have to vote for The Conway’s because I am their mentor when before me I see a star that I have to vote off and this show was all about finding that special X Factor. I bet he now wishes he had said, “Tonight the Conway’s decided that they wanted to go their own way and this week seeing as though I am not their mentor then I am sending them home because I have to for the sake of the show.”
No star has ever managed to crack the USA market from any of these Pop Idol come other wannabee shows. They have to pay for people to see Westlife in the USA and ask them who Robbie Williams is and they would say “ain’t that the guy out of Jamanji?” Face it nobody is going to be a world star from the X Factor apart from just maybe Maria. What I see in here is perhaps the only chance of what I would class as “Super Stardom” and by that you have to crack the USA market and Japan and not just be known in the UK and parts of Europe.
I do not normal dislike many people but the likes of Louis Walsh who feed of others do disgust me but what disgusts me more is how little he knows and how he never but never accepts criticism and I thank god for Simon Cowell who does tell it like it is and if one of his acts has a bitch of a night he says so. You can see Louis clapping when Nicholas is on stage but what is he clapping for? A slow hand clap to get him off the stage? Nicholas cannot sing. It is impossible to sing if you have problems pronoucing “this and that” and “dis and dat” does not cut it and you can clearly see and hear that when he sings. Maria has a perfect speaking voice and hence why she shines when she sings. Simon has been right all along about Nicholas so has Sharon and to be frank it is only looks that are carrying him this far.
Louis Walsh for me can go drink himself stupid on Guinness and drown in the River Shannon for me and the show would be better off without him.
Louis Walsh voted plain and simple for the fact that both he and The Conway’s are Irish, and yes with his heart which is so obviously Irish and ok if it was to keep Thin Lizzy or U2 in the competition, lol as if such great acts from Ireland ever needed to be on such crappy shows to make it, you could say “yes” they have to stay but The Conway’s? Get real and get them off the damn show please.
Tonight it has proven that is about the fact that Louis does not give a crap about who wins so long as they are one of his acts pure and simple and if those that read this cannot see this then you are as simple and as bigoted as that mindless chump.
God I wish Simon would punch him live on the show. Go get him Simon and do the nation a favour.
Good Luck Journey South; you will not win as Shayne is destined and pre-selected on that count because no matter given that they say its a public vote but who is auditing where the votes come from? I can be certain that if the producers see Shayne’s votes dipping a sudden flourish of votes will arrive of that you can be certain. The show is a joke – completely and fixed and you had better believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Interestingly I feel that it is Sharon, not Louis, who will be recieving the flack in the sunday papers.Pete Waterman stated today that the show is completely fixed anyway, so to that extent this injustice is all rather irrelivant. Thus, we can expect Chico to remain as long as Simon decides he wants him in the competition and there is no point in wasting money on voting. For what it’s worth, I believe Louis to have shown his true colours- SLIME BALL GREEN!

Sharon kept Chenai in because she knew what she was like as a person and knew how she sang… that’s a better reason than just because they’re from the same country as you. Irish people are cool… I love them! But they just won’t part if you give them the option. Louis Walsh is not my most favourite person at the moment. Maria was my favourite and she’s gone!

i think louis was really harsh to send maria home because she was amazing and the conway sisters were crap (sorry but it was true!) they cant sing in tune, they cant harmony and i could go on for days. maria had all the talent the conways didnt have and louis shouldnt of chosen the conway sisters cause they are irish he should of listened to them sing and payed attention. i think he is a crap judge. he needs to judge them on their singing. im a 4tune lover but they have gone out.

How dare she bring nationality into it. If one of the judges was black, voting for a black artist, would she have got away with what she said. It was outrageous to come out with a comment like that on prime time TV. Maria was a real star – I can’t believe she’s gone!! The conways don’t really have the talent to cut it. Sorry to say it but I think Sharon was right, Louis just saved them because they’re Irish, I’m Irish too but I definately think the Conways were very average and just not in the same league last night as the rest of them (Chico aside!). Show a bit of balls for a change louis and stop thinking of yourself!!

Maria is fantastic and should have been there till the end. How can anyone compare her to the weakest vocals of Chico and Nicholas, there is just NO contest, she would win hands down every time.

Tonight is the first night that a bad decision has been made by the judges if you ask me.
The simple fact of the matter is that The Conway Sisters aren’t anywhere near good enough. Simon should have punished them for what they did this week by sending them home. Maria has an amazing voice and personality and I just know she could get far.
My main problem with the Conways is pretty much the same problem that I had with 4tune: They think they are a million times better than they actually are. Both 4tune and the Conways are far too similar to the other 7 and a half billion boy and girl bands out there, and quite frankly neither of them have anything to distinguish themselves from the others.
With that in mind, rock on, Journey South. If they release an album, I will so buy it.

Anyone notice how this year at the auditions, Maria really dressed down rather ooking too polished in the early stages. The producers seem to want female contestants who can appear increasingly attractive throughout the show…helping to promote the idea that X Factor enables them to bloom.
I think her talents and beauty emerged too early in the show for the audience to remain interested in her. She’s confident, poised, professional – and, worst of all, an extremely attractive female. Not a combi that really appeals to the Saturday night viewing public who favour novelty acts, pretty boys and Last Chance Salooners.
An exit like last night’s is probably as good a professional move as anyone can make from the X Factor, even if the whole “biased judge” thing was a bit like a storyline out of Bunty magazine. I think she’ll do quite well as a recording artist selling to the R&B market.

Of course it’s a farce! Anyone with half a brain knows that the only purpose of the votes is to make money to fund the show. Surely nobody actually believes their vote makes a difference?!!
But until last night I did actually have some faith that the so-called judges would be true to their profession. Now that they have proved beyond doubt that the X-Factor is nothing whatsoever to do with talent, I have lost what little faith I ever had and, furthermore, the result was such an insult to the intelligence of the viewers that I really hope those viewers will join me in boycotting the show from now on. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY VOTING – IT ONLY MAKES THEM RICH AND YOU POOR and it has NO EFFECT WHATSOEVER on the outcome.
But don’t lose sleep over Maria – she has such phenomenal talent that she really doesn’t need the X-Factor. This time next year she’ll be a household name, but I wouldn’t mind betting everyone will have forgotten the name of this series’ winner.
I hope the Conway Sisters win – I could do with a really good laugh…

I can’t believe the fuss that is being made about Maria’s departure. The decision of who stays is based on the best performance, and quite frankly Maria’s version of Brown Sugar was average at best. The Conways performed a great version of Hold On, so deserve to stay because of that.
For Sharon to say the “Irish Mafia” was the reason for Louis’s decision was disgusting and racist. If I was Louis, I would be extremely angry at this blatant personal attack. Sharon takes things too personally, and probably wishes the show was renamed “The Sharon Osbourne Show.” Heaven forbid that one of her acts has to leave the show!
And why did Kate have to ask Louis again why he voted Maria out? I thought she was supposed to be impartial. She was voted out because of an average performance – plain and simple.
For Sharon to say that talent should be the reason an act stays I found rather funny – so why is her act Chico still there? Who the hell is voting for him? He is quite clearly the least talented of all the acts – not the Conways as someone stated earlier.
As with a lot of these kind of shows, there is usually a problem with an act of pretty girls, regardless of how much talent they have. It’s always been like this, and probably always will. Shane will probably win it because he’s a good looking guy – I don’t think anyone would be shocked at this outcome.

I’m raging Maria is gone!! I’m Irish and I will be first to stand up and admit Louis kept them in because they’re Irish. I’m sorry to say we Irish people always stick together (its a thing from our history, we’ve been brought up that way!) and although it can be a good thing in a situation like this its not! Me and my friends were watching it last night and just before Louis said who he was voting off we all said he’s gonna keep the conways coz they’re irish! The pop scene in Ireland with the likes of Westlife etc is extremely clicky and the Conways are part of it so Louis would have been slated by all those idiot socialites all if he’d sent them home.
By the way I do have to say though that even though i am a big fan of Simon he should have sent the conways home. It doesn’t matter that he’s their mentor, we all know Simon can sure as hell stand up for himself and he so knew that he was making the wrong choice, u could see it in his face! I just can’t understand it!
Anyway please everyone stop calling Louis a racist! yes he may have kept the conways coz they’re irish but a racist is someone who hates the other nationality, and Louis deoesn’t hate the English! Racist is a bit too strong a word! xx

Why is everyone so surprised the show is rigged?? It was rigged last year when that guy Steve won (no-one has even heard of him since!! Do any of the judges really have a clue??). The show is all about ratings -the more outrageous the results, the more people watch it. I mean, Chico is still in it, and Nicholas, and neither of them can sing in tune… I rest my case. Maria didn’t deserve to go, she was one of the better acts but WHY DIDN’T THE PUBLIC VOTE FOR HER? It’s the public’s fault really, not Louis’s. I think Sharon is pulling a cheap stunt calling Louis a racist but its all intended to make the show even more outrageous. In fact I think there were many better acts that didn’t even make it to the live shows but that’s life. Let’s not forget that the show isn’t about finding someone with the “X-Factor”, its about selling massive amounts of advertising and making Simon, Sharon and Louis even wealthier than they are already. Proof? Look at how many times the show is aired per week – on ITV 1 and ITV 2, separate results shows, repeats on Sunday etc etc. The advertisers are having a field day, not to mention the telephone companies!! Shayne To Win because he has a good voice, looks well and has the “Marketability Factor” if not the “X Factor”.

probably Simon should have put the sisters out of their misery,but at least now people can see Louis Walsh for what he is, a big fish in a very small pond(Ireland),trying to act like a big shot over here.He just looks pathetic with his blatant favouritism.(He said Maria was the act that he MUST send home).It certainly made the show more interesting,who would have thought that the wholesome looking sisters would have become the brunt of so much hostility,(Mr. Walsh certainly hasn`t done them any favours in that respect).I`d love it if the papers got hold of the pictures of him and the sisters at the Irish wedding!Loved Sharon`s passion,and it will be interesting to see what she says to the Conways next week.No doubt they will be in the bottom 2 two again next week,and we`ll go through the whole sorry process again!

If only she had been Maria from Sligo; she would have been through. The once-great show is now seen as corruptible. That is a tragedy. It is bad for the Conways, as they will be seen to progress through race; bad for Maria, who lost because she was from the wrong place and bad the show which has lost, at a stroke, its balance and sense of fairness. All judges have raved about Maria for weeks. I did not think that she was a winner,although a top three, but the judges, over the course of the show, have put her way above the sisters from Sligo. A shame. Strictly Come Dancing for me now-sorry.

Will you all (save a few) listen to yourselves. THIS IS TV – and you all (again save a few) have been totally DUPED!! Simon Cowell is rubbing his hands with glee and you are attacking an innocent girl act who have done nothing but want to sing. Attack the tv show for WHAT IT IS if you must, but come on, dont get personal with young characters you do not even know. Both acts are suffering as a result of finely thought out train wreck tv! Good luck to them all, and to the Conway sisters and Marie, keep the chins up, and realise the show for what it is. The rest of you, shame on you, hate etc are strong words that can affect even the strongest of us. SHAME! YOU make me angry…. get some hobbies…

Maria is gorgeous. I don’t usually comment on these things but Saturday, quite frankly made the X Factor a joke. And like Sharon said NOTHING ABOUT TALENT!!!!!!!!Maria is pretty, massivly talented had a gorge figure and basically the whole package.The Conway sisters are flat most of the time when they sing. Fact.
Nobody with any serious talent should go on this show. As it is more about the judges ego’s, them favouring their own act, or an act from their country. It was blatantly obvious Maria should have stayed in if it were about talent.

Louis should not have been in the position of having to choose between the Conways and Maria. The bottom 2 should have been Nicholas and Chico, then at least we would have got rid of one of the two worst singers on the show. Chico cannot sing, the only thing he would be any good at is as an entertainer at a holiday camp. Nicholas has no personality and puts no feeling into any of the songs he has attempted to sing. If the ‘voting’ public had placed the right ones at the bottom both Maria and the Conways would still be in the running.

What I would love for next week is to see The Conway Sisters and Shayne (Louis strongest remaining act) in the bottom 2 …… Sharon saves Shayne, Simon saves The Conways and Louis ………. well I’d love to see him ditch Shayne and keep The Conways even though I prefer that woman who sings ‘Lotties at it again’ over The Conways, I’d just love to see Louis make a right gimp of himself, not that he needs to do that, lol
I agree that Maria’s performance wasn’t her best, but c’mon overall she was fantastic. Brenda has been my fave every week except last week where Maria blew me away she was my fave singing ‘You’re Beautiful’. A stunning performance. That was better than all 5 of The Conways performances. It shouldn’t be judged on the performance of the night but overall talent. Such a shame. Hey Ho. My support is still with Brenda, Chico & journey South. Although I suspect The Conways & Nicholas will be in the final, the 2 acts that send me into a deep deep coma, rofl

JEN- Have you not been reading the papers and been watching the news? The conway sisters are huge in Ireland are managed by a top producer who manages Kylie Minougue! They have an album out and have had 3 top twenty hit singles and have been on tour! so maybe you should check that out… I have nothin against the conways- i think they are good singers but not the best, and maria was better. However i don’t like louis walsh as its gone to his head that hes got the best acts this year.

Fair enough Laura, you are of course entitled to your opinion. And yes Maria is fantastic, and an absolute lady, she will i think go as far as she wants. You shouldnt believe everthing you read in the papers or hear in the news, i’m sure you have heard people say that before. Its all about sensationalism – thats the publicity shows like the xfactor want. You do not have to like the girls, but i think unless you know them, or they have offended you personally, or something you personally stand for, there is no need for anyone to get nasty?
Now, the girls are my cousins, very close cousins, so i know very well what they have and havent done. They have no management and payed themselves for the use of a recording studio to make their album. They play all their own instruments, write all their own lyrics and music and had a bit of fun (while working hard with other commitments) touring round ireland trying to promote it and above all else they are gentle, kind and the best fun ever. Say what you will, but its a well run TV show that knows how to generate publicity like no other but dont beleive everything you read or hear about the girls please, and that goes for the other contestants too eh. You dont have to like them but some of the comments i’m reading are just mad, people are getting so worked up its mental! Chill out all! Go and have some fun…..

I have to say on this one i agree with Laura. It has been said that the conway sisters do already have a record deal and i must admit i find this very selfish. Why not give others a chance? They already have fame so why do they find the need to enter a talent competition to win a recording contract? I wish all of them the best of luck but i have to agree with Laura post 54 on this one……

Maria is brilliant – she sacrificed her own honeymoon to do the show (im not sayin tht this means shes good) so she is obviously in for the long term whilst conway sisters already have a record deal as number 54 said!!! why are they on the show then may i ask? i admit they can sing, but, we already have The Corrs and conways arnt even as good as them. Saturdays show was shocking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it made me so ANGRY!! i thought maria was by far the best act in the competition along with Brenda. And why LOUIS sent her home is a disgrace he only sent her home so it could give on of his acts chance to win cos he knew Maria would have won otherwise. i think it was aslo because he is voting by his passport!! just like SHARON said.

hi kate, apologies for calling you a child – i would love to be 21 again! Lets just say i’m a bit older eh! :> I do think maria is absolutely fantastic, i have alot of respect for her too, she is very composed.
To answer your question, i do think the show is very much a solo artists show, and i was sure maria would win it! Hope that answers your question? I was just as shocked as everyone else – so were the girls, they were gutted, i was there with them. Its a strange concept really the show, and i find it hard to get my head around it all, and i dont think it suits everyone (as in artists). I would love to see the girls sing something more upbeat and sexy and fun, but it seems they are buried now anyway. Sure look at the end of the day its only tv, it’ll all blow over soon enough, and i have no doubt that maria will do better than ever now! And she deserves it!! Gotta go, take care now! :>

Am I alone in thinking that Sharon’s comments were out of order – what she said was disgusting and I haven’t heard her apologise for referring to the ‘Irish Mafia’ (I’m not Irish by the way). That was a racist comment and if she had made it in connection with someone’s colour or creed there would have been uproar. She is a sad, talentless, woman whose only claim to fame is being matriarch to the world’s most dysfunctional family.
For those disappointed at Maria’s departure, don’t take your anger out on the Conways. It’s not their fault that they are still in. Personally I want Brenda or Journey South to win – they are such great acts.

Hi Jen, First of all I am Irish but I have to be honest in saying I was very surprised the conways stayed and maria went…Personally I preferred Maria (but the girls are still very talented). However, the way the girls are being treated is absolutely disgracful. It’s not their fault that Louis (AND SIMON may i add – or is everyone just conviently forgetting he picked them to stay too!) picked them over Maria…they were just up their on stage doing their thing (and may I say it was a very good performance they did!) & are a completely innocent party in this. I feel so bad for the girls, I’d love to perform myself but I just can’t imagine being able to cope in a situation like this so fair play to them…I can’t wait to see them on Sat coz I’d say they’ll do a kick ass performance in the face of all this. By the way if people are gonna vote them out on Saturday just because of what happened then you’re all just as bad as u claim Louis is…you’re not voting on talent but on politics. Anyway thats all I have to say on the matter…But Jen please tell the girls they do have supporters & we all want to see them give a kick ass performance on Sat coz if the public do decide to vote them out then they should go out in style!! I see a few posts on this discussion are saying that Maria was in the bottom 2 so what’s the problem (or to that effect.) She probably ended up in the bottom 2 as her fans probably thought oh we don’t need to vote she’ll get through no worries. Thig is each contestant needs votes from the fans. I do seem to remember Kate Thonton say the bottom 3 was painfully close.
I’m really hoping for Nicholas or The Conways to go this week. Despite what anybody else might say about these 2 acts good or bad I simply don’t enjoy their performances. End of!

While i UNDERSTAND why the girls are being treated badly (the nature of the business, publicity, people and the way these thing go in general!) i know they dont deserve the boo-ing and name calling etc etc but its just the way it goes eh. There’s a big lesson in it for them (& myself really, i wont be so quick to judge others in future i tell you!) The judges voting Maria from the show was in the eyes of most (including mine) was a disaster. I find that the Conways sound OK when they are solo but sound out of tune with poor timing making them painful to listen to as a group. Was Louis right to keep them in? Well No. Its apparent that there is a history between them making his vote bias. It should have gone to the viewers vote which, I’m sure, would of been the end of the Conways.

Lets make one thing clear If Maria was so good that why was she in the last two with public votes.

i cannot believe louis voted maria over the smug conway sisters, i think that them being irish has nothing to do with it. it is down to maria being the only contestent to be a threat to the much loved shane. he never done the conway any favour because he just used them to get rid of maria. the person who will have the last laugh is maria cus she will be the one not tied to x factor and will end up with a massive record deal and recognised for the great artist she is not just the x factor winner. good luck maria and i look forward to seeing you in the future. want shane to win not for the rat(louis) but for him. x x x

I think that Maria was so unlucky to get voted out the system is definately fixed, it should not only be based on the performance for that night Maria was good every week, Louis get your ears cleaned!!!!

The whole system of judging is rubbish. Who is Sharon Osbourne, she’s never achieved a thing. and the cost of voting is just a scam.

haha didnt marias new single get to number 20? yes how very talented..*laughs hard* hahahaha a total failure. The conways single got higher, it was no. 7 in the irish charts. Maria i think its time for you to stop singing and give us all a rest. ha
