X Factor’s Maria has addmitted that she is scared about singing Brown Sugar, her song choice for this Saturday, because she doesn’t know it and is unsure about it. After being persuaded to go with it by her vocal coach Mark (the one with the multi-coloured beard), she then phoned up her husband to ask him his thoughts about the choice of song, and then also consulted Brenda for her opinion.
Maria has a lot to live up to, since last Saturday, when she sang “Beautiful” by James Blunt, she received fantastic comments from all three judges:
Louis Walsh – “Last week, I thought you gave the best performance by far, I didnt think you could do better. This week you come back and sing a totally different song, you make it your own. You deserve to be in this competition and you deserve a record deal and you are beautiful.”
Simon Cowell – “Not only do I think it is your best performance to date, I also think it is the performance of the night so far.. I absolutely loved it, I actually think you would have a hit record with it.”
Sharon Osbourne – “Everything you do is effortless and each week it just amazes me, It’s just, I want you to kind of perspire or…you just do it so naturally and it just flows from you.”
Maria – said she is amazed each week and is having such a wonderful time

maria is a star she deserves to win the xfactor

I think the powers that be need to look at the final decision making. It is a disgrace that the power over peoples lives and careers rests with biased judges that choose finalists by where people originate from. It is ridiculous as they are obviously going to choose their own, and if the final choice is theirs choose to annoy. Be careful people are fed up with this. I have watched this programme and changed my plans to make sure I see it, NO MORE you have gone too far.

Final decision making needs to be changed, its a disaster that Maria was voted out tonight its a total scam .If the judges are experts how come they got it so wrong the public thinks its an outrage .
Simon and Louis voted for the wrong reasons.
Louis especially how can you live with your decision being irish does not make them better than everyone else shame on you.

If Simon had voted for the Conway Sisters because they’re white he’d be locked up. So why’s it OK for Louis to do the same thing?
Maria is sexier than them, a better singer than them, gave up her honeymoon to be there, and then she gets booted off because of here race?
Louis should be locked up!

Louis is a disgrace, he only voted maria off because he wantss to win the competition and maria had the power to win, also because the Conways are irish. Maria had a lot of talent and deserved to stay in the competion infact to win it as i though she was the best one there along side of Nicholas, Brenda and Andy. Louis should be totally ashamed with himself! Maria will go far and be one of the most sucseffull singers on the market. We all love your singing Maria Best Luck and keep it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Louis just wanted to get rid of good competation. Also he didn’t wan Simon to be left with just one act. That thing about passports is really a smoke screen.
Comment by P Walsh, Dublin — Sunday, 13 November, 2005 @ 17:01
I think it’s pretty obvious Louis voted off his biggest rival. I was even expecting Simon to cause a big upset by being the first judge to vote off his own act – not that the Conways can’t sing, but they are outclassed by Maria.

Didn’t realise that we Brits could be so raciest against Louis. It was the British public that put Maria in that position, not Louis.

Maria’s song did the poor girl no favours in more ways than one.
Whose bright idea was it to get a young black woman to sing a racist, misogynistic song about young black women prostitutes?
Changed words or no, this was woefully inappropriate. No wonder she seemed so uncomfortable.

i think maria deserved to stay in the x-factor she should not have left. this show is suppose to be about talent but it is quite obvious that louis does not know talent is if it slapped him in the face. he only kept the conway sisters in because they are irish, maria is better by a million than the conway sisters. i really think louis felt maria was threat to him because he knew she had the talent to win the show.

Maria didn’t deserve to loose she has a great voice but hey everything is probably all good for her coz i heard that she got a record deal. Even though it was obvious at the time.

louis is a sad sad guy!maria is the best and if sharon has any common sence, after the show she could phone up the record compony and tell them she wants maria to have one.
im not surprised if louis got booded.
louis knew the conway sisters because the conways sang at the one of the westlife boys wedding and louis was there. If he put maria through he was worride that when he goes home to irland every one will go(OH LOUIS WHY!)and he didnt want that because the conways are from irland!.

Maria is not a good singer because her voice is so weak. She has to rely on the background sound to be listened better.
Also, she is too sexy to become a singer. I mean: a real singer!
Out is out, no more tears and angers.
