The first TV airing of The X factor 2005 audition show will be on ITV1 on Saturday 20th August at 6.50pm with highlights of auditions from the London and Manchester venues. With around 75000 applicants to audition in 7 cities, whatever talent, or lack of it turns up, it’s bound to make for an interesting and thoroughly entertaining watch, especially if it lives up to last year’s show.

hey, my names charlotte and ive wanted to go on the x-factor for a while now! i turned 16 in march 2005 and i do not know when the auditions are! Even if they say no it will really be interesting to hear thier comments and ways of improving!!!
Is it possible you can e-mail me the dates of auditions please! i live in Southampton so i think i will have to go to london auditions but im not sure! I really hope you can help me, i love to sing and love sharon!!!!

Sorry to disappoint you but all the auditions for X Factor 2005 took place a few months ago and what we are now seeing on TV was recorded way back then. You could always get tickets for one of the live X Factor shows which are yet to be filmed in Wembley Pavillion, London. If you go to http://www.applausestore.com you can reserve tickets there. Alternatively, you could always go to Madame Tussauds in London and sing infront of the waxwork judges, apparently they give quite realistic comments. Hiya….we live in spain and are glued to XFactor every Saturday and then repeat on sunday…we are coming to the uk for holiday 25th November…is there any way of getting tickets to watch it…..my kids would be in heaven ………….
